@@Razspareparts Hi bro I just put a brand new battery in my bike, and the fuse and resistors are broken again... you know what this could be? thanks in regards
Around 6th minute. "To push current both ways" which wires are you keeping connected? The ground to charge ground and positive to discharge positive? Thanks
Hi Raz, thanks for all your wise videos .. however, I am stuck with a battery where the charge is brought up to 80%, the BMS has been reset, the fuse is shorted (for now) and it still has err6/17/20 and doesn't charge. When shorting +CHG an DCH it is charging however. I am not getting the readings between CHG- and the fuse as you show in this video .. can you help me out, maybe the Mosfet ATP301 is dead?? Thanks in advance, Rob
@@robvaneck8649 it might be just the third pin disconnected... Fuse has 3 pins ... Across is the fuse itself and one side is a heating element used in case of voltage rising to blow the fuse ... That third pin is supposed to have around 30 ohm resistance...
@@Razspareparts I've now installed a new fuse (SFK1445) and the battery still doesn't charge. All three 151 resistors are showing 50 Ohm .. is that correct? Any more tips for checking or exchanging parts (Mosfet ATP301 ?). ..
.. fitting the right fuse (sfk4045) has worked, the battery is loading again! However err19 and err20 remain, possibly because the BMS needs s software upgrade? Maybe something for a next video, cause this info is nowhere to be found!
In the video, you demonstrate how to charge it with a lab power supply and reset it using the discharge side. Do I need to connect only the red (+) discharge side to the red charging side? Or should I also connect the black (-) side? It's not very clear. Could you explain if both sides need to be connected, or what exactly needs to be done? Maybe a video with more details would help?
Hi, I really enjoy your videos. Direct to the question. How I can delete all these errors (6-19-20-21,…) from my battery after replacing the fuse? I already replaced it and voltage from VP and Ground is 40 Volts. Can you explain the exact steps? that will be very useful. Thank you so much in advance, you are doing an excellent job helping people with these bikes.
I am lucky. Not yet have any problem with my s3 2021 battery. it even says error 19 if i plug the charger in when it's charged 100%. furthermore It's working very well.
I have a S2 battery and I have tried to charge it with a balance charger (IMAX B6) when I started to charge them they where around 1 volt each serie but some of them they where at 0.20 or so. No when I try to charge those low 0.20 v series they get a bit warm and when they hit 2.5/3 V and unplug the charger to see if the keep the charge they drop within 15 min 0.5 volt or so. I have this on 2 series. Serie 1 and serie 4 have this problem. Now I think the battery is unrepairable because I don’t have a remove tool to remove the cell from all the other series. I have only a soldering iron. Can I fix the battery or need to replace them or how does it work?
Useful video. I’m fixing batteries in Lithuania, so we are like coleques or smth like that. I bought s3 with battery error, detected blown fuse. All 10 groups 3.7V but idk why the fuse blow. Waiting for fuse from Ali, because there is no in the Lithuania. And before replacing fuse u need to disconnect some wires, balancing and power (idk about charging, but i will desolder them too). I am right in this? Have a great holidays!
Charge thru the BMS as I do with 4 amps ... If starting to jump check wich row of cells failed... They usually have high voltage and replace the bad ones

I also need a reply here @Razer, I probably can't do a proper reset, even the hard reset on bms with pliers
Can you tell us more about a data connection to the battery and which software one could use.

Is S3 battery safe or can it apontaneously combust? I am concerned as my battwry has gone weird and i canjor xharge it.
How can I charge to 80%, when I usually charge overnight?
Do you sell repaired batteries for the S3? Thanks, Kieran

Cells are shorted S2 have more problems... Some are not welded properly and they get disconnected
But when cells are close to 0 volts .. o point of trying because they develop internal shorts and they will self drain quickly
