Gotta give a shoutout to Ready to Harvest. He is very well educated and knowledgeable on different denominations, while keeping an extremely objective and informative view on each of them. Love his channel if you’re looking to learn more about denominations and church history.
Love Mark Ward and Dwayne Green. Love the 3 Tims, but also really love R. Grant Jones (his reviews are almost therapeutic). Amazing channel is One for Israel - their theology and biblical studies are game-changing. Enjoy Joel Richardson. Love Mike Winger. Love Messed Up Church for the way they humorously call out charismania. Love Good Fight Ministries and Babylon Bee are always fun.
Cool...thanks! A couple of new ones I haven't seen. I'll be sure to check them out. Two of my favorite are DLM Christian Lifestyles and Cross Examined. There are some others, but those come to mind first. Can never have too much Christian content! 🙏
I'm gonna check out all these channel. I was aware of two and never had a look at them.I Love star wars theory, he's such a genuine guy and his love of the franchise is massive.
Yes agree.. the three Tim’s is where it’s at, and agree Dis Dojo is the bomb. Love the depth. You pack some great content in a small package, but if you went longer I would watch and enjoy. Great style, you are always prepared. Nice work
Some new names for me.. being based in 🇬🇧 and new to faith my first landings on TH-cam christian channels were from a search of what bible to read.. Matt Whitman Frisch perspective (Top bloke) Ready to Harvest. Your good self. Plus, I am thankful for how one search leads to another. A massive community speaking and preaching the word. In 🇬🇧 we have many churches being used for many things.... it's nice to hear the word is still being preached.
That's a great list, didn't know about Theology Academy, I will have to sub. One I would recommend is Bishop Barron. Whoa that guy has got it, and I'm not Catholic (yet?). Mark Ward will make you deep dive when it comes to reading the bible, that's for sure. No matter which translation I read, I watch out for the "False Friends" now :) A couple of others that I usually listen to their podcast and not watch their videos is Soteriology 101, The Holy Post & Pints with Aquinas. Also enjoy Matt Whitman & Gospel Simplicity.
Thanks for doing something like this. I follow all but the first two you mentioned so I’m feeling kind of good. Ha ha. Tim Mackie used to be my teaching pastor at Blackhawk Church in Middleton, WI. And I just fell in love with word and Bible study. Our loss was Bible Project’s gain.
I forgot to add I have one of their first Kickstarters when they sold a huge book with drawings of each book of the Bible. Tim used to draw those out for us at church. Loved that mix of visual and tactile learning. I like to redraw them in my Bibles. That sounds like a great new Bible concept!!
Sorry for turning what should've been one comment into three, but I just recalled another Christian TH-cam channel that I highly recommend: Dr. Michael S. Heiser. Dr. Heiser was taken from this world sooner than many of us would've liked, but his teaching lives on through his videos and documentaries.
I love Disciple Dojo, quality pick! JM introduced me to my new favorite; the Archaelogical Study Bible (sadly OOP, but can be found used.) Truth Unites is my #1 right now, Dr Gavin Ortlund is truly spot on. Honorable mention-Wise Disciple puts out super legit apologetics and debate breakdowns and is also blowing up. This was a cool video Tim, didn’t know a couple of these! Thank you
Aside from this channel, I love: remnant radio, line of fire, disciple dojo, bible project, Michael Heiser, Alisa Childers, Craig Keener, crazy love, David Pawson, Mike Winger.
My two favorite TH-camrs that just cover general Christianity are Daily Disciple and Redeemed Zoomer. However, I also have to mention Theology of the Body Institute. They focus specifically on issues of chastity and Christian sexual morality, and while it’s a Catholic ministry (they base everything off of Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body), I think they would be incredibly helpful for all Christians.
I was already gauging what my 5 would be and I think you had 4 of mine. I also am fascinated by Plain Spoken. I am not Methodist, but that channel follows the United Methodist breakup and all things Methodism. Fascinating channel.
The most thorough reviewer for sure but yeah, a little too long and his voice can put me to sleep. But the dude lays it all out in the smallest of details. Appreciate his efforts.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviewsSorry, but if you are reviewing Bibles for entertainment, you should choose another type of "book" to review. And to add, compared to RG, for me, sometimes your reviews are so basic.
As for bible review channels other than the 3 Tims, I gotta go with Randy...the OG. Fav Christian TH-camrs are (in no order) Mike Winger, Jay Dyer, Bob Yandian, David Guzik, Eric Gilmour, Beyond The Fundamentals, Rev Reads (great for book reviews), Ready to Harvest, Cross Examined, Sean McDowell, The Line of Fire, Remnant Radio, Best Bible Commentaries, Expedition Bible, Skip Heitzig, and Jack Hibbs. Honorable mentions to James White & Doug Wilson. I don't agree much with their theology but find them mildly entertaining like that cooky uncle you only see at holidays.
Wife here, loves Dojo, got interested in his channel last year. Not butt-kissing but he and you are my favs! Thanks so much for the great list, it's a big help finding the legitimate ones!
This old home schooling mom appreciates what you and your lovely wife (camera woman) do! I really need this great content now that I can take the time to learn something for me!@@anickelsworthbiblereviews
Absolutely 👍🥳 And I also agree: DiscipleDojo is the absolute, amazing deal. I've been binge-watching his channel since I discovered it, 2 weeks ago. Fascinating stuff, and so well researched, presented and balanced! Intelligent and always interesting. And then there's the 3 Tims, but no one can beat them, so... 😉
Honorable mention: What Your Pastor Didn't Tell You 5. Wise Disciple 4. Redeemed Zoomer 3. Inspiring Philosophy 2. Truth Unites 1. Ancient Egypt and the Bible
I am dispensational so hands down my two bible teachers are Richard Jordan of Forgotten Truths and also Les Feldick of Thru the Bible..These two changed my life and my understanding of my walk with the lord..Toni's husband
Grace Digital is good, I love their supernatural content, their videos have come up for me when searching for Christian topics. I love disciple dojo too. He is underappreciated IMO. I love his in depth reviews of the CONTENT of study Bibles, I have definitely picked up a few study Bibles, Jewish, Orthodox and yes the Baker study Bible after watching his channel.
Surprised not to see any mention of Mike Winger. I whole heartedly support your recommendation of Mark Ward. He has a loving spirit but is unafraid to stand against incorrect teaching.
Maybe someday. I’m not “uncomfortable” I’m just not completely convinced of any position. I tend to share each position and let people land where they land. Of course I have my favorite, but goodness…there’s a reason this is a hotly debated topic.
Mike Winger, Truth Unites, The Beat with Allen Parr, Ruslan KD, Ready to Harvest, Smart Christians Channel, Cross Examined, Redeemed Zoomer, What do you Meme, Defending the biblical roots of Christianity
Mike Winger super solid biblical teaching, his verse by verse study detail is unmatched I highly recommend the study of the Gospel of mark. Dwayne Green a great channel about textual criticism with unique takes Steven Hackett’s channel (Biblical Studies?) for matters of Text, Faith and Greek.
Mackie’s view of the atonement is borderline heresy, he is also very light on sin. There is a video that is on the gospel that literally doesn’t even mention sin. Mark Ward is phenomenal, I love how charitable he is.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews He has taught in another video that was not bible project that he does not believe in Penal Substitution, and in fact made a mockery of it. His views are subtly there in bible project. 99.9% of bible project is solid. I still use the resource but discern carefully.
Here are several TH-cam Christian-content creators who aren't afraid to delve into biblical subjects from which many people may shy away (like the Nephilim): 1) Off The Kirb Ministries 2) Good Fight Ministries 3) Sling and Stone 4) will123will
There are so many great ones out there. I probably could have done a top ten. I enjoy Mike Winger, but he’s probably not even top ten for me, and that isn’’t a slight to the incredible work he does. Just too many amazing channels.
I'd avoid The Best with Allen parr he's neutral and is a people pleaser. I'd avoid the DLM Christian lifestyle channel. I'd definitely avoid Cross examined, for Frank Turek won't give a Bible answer; he relies on intellectualism to much.
Ha! I posted about will123will, too, before seeing your comment, @stormy_waters. 😁 (In case you miss my post, I also recommend: 1) Off The Kirb Ministries, 2) Good Fight Ministries, and 3) Sling and Stone.
Gotta give a shoutout to Ready to Harvest. He is very well educated and knowledgeable on different denominations, while keeping an extremely objective and informative view on each of them. Love his channel if you’re looking to learn more about denominations and church history.
Ready to Harvest is a great one too. Solid little niche channel.
Mark Ward is very good, agreed. So is Disciple Dojo. Great channels.
Great video Pastor Tim. 😊 agree re Disciple Dojo but most of the others I didn’t know. I’ll check them out.
Disciple Dojo is one of my favorites!

I wanna give a shout out to Brother Matt Whitman! His channel was the catalyst that got me here and on other's channels, the 3 Tims and Disciple Dojo!
Matt Whitman is sooo good! I’m a subscriber. I should have gone with top ten!
I definitely have Whitman and Allen Parr in my Top 10.
The Symbolic World with Jonathan Pageau
Yes agree.. the three Tim’s is where it’s at, and agree Dis Dojo is the bomb. Love the depth.
You pack some great content in a small package, but if you went longer I would watch and enjoy. Great style, you are always prepared. Nice work
Can't get on board with Wildsmith, but Disciple Doji has been putting out a lot of good content.

2. Tim Nickels
3. Tim Nickels
4. Tim Nickels

R. Grant Jones, is #1 for me.
He’s really good but man his videos are long and somewhat dry.

Yes!! He is the one I go to when I want content. I love what I do and I feel it meets a need, but he’s so good at what he does.
Tim, what would be your favorite Bible Study channels? Those who go in depth with Bible Study?
Mike Winger is good. I also like the Remnant Radio, although their channel has had a bit of change of direction lately.
