1968 Plymouth Valiant Trunk Gets POR 15, Weatherstrip, and New Paint

This A-body needed attention in the trunk area, so we preserved the trunk pans with some POR15, repaired a little sheet metal, painted the trunk, and then sealed the trunk with new weatherstripping from SoffSeal. Check it out...

Best tip I can give you for this is the scotchbrite/3M Roloc Bristle disks. Ten times better than wire wheel, dont bend all to hell to stab you, and the dont throw wires in your face! I use the 60 grit on a 18v cordless grinder. It will strip the finish to bare metal in seconds.

It looks good. Sometimes I like to use fiber glass for some of those small repairs on the floor.
I only drove one car in primer gray and it seemed to draw the attention of the police way too much. Not doing that again.
