We lost our shoes and got trapped in Clementi Forest | Exploring with MJ

  • Clementi forest is Singapore's second largest forest that looks like it came straight out of a fairy tale. The morning dew is gorgeous and the mist created a mystical feel to the whole place.
However, it being such a pristine location means it will not be an easy place to explore. We hike through this forest to see what it is actually like in there and at the same time, look for some of it's many fauna and flora species thriving in there!

Clementi Forest is beautiful. Sadly, it's slated for development. Now, I'm usually an upbeat guy but being a Nature lover & ichthyologist who studies endangered freshwater fish habitats, this piece of news does break my heart. Nature is beautiful. As are the people with a heart for it. The artifice created by Man can never stand on par to the richness that Nature revels in, truly.

Hi thanks for the interesting and informative video! Yep you’re absolutely correct about dry leaves releasing tannins into the water, that’s also the same reason why we fishkeepers also sometimes place dried ketapang leaves into our aquariums too... to increase the acidity of the aquarium water. One question..... Can I know where is the location of the bus-stop (at the end of your video?), I’m thinking of making a video there about aquatic fish wild life there..... if got time... thinking only.... Lol 😂

Technically "jungles" are forests too, they are just a casual word to describe tropical forest.
