He goes exploring with avid nature lover Brice Li, whose viral video of Clementi Forest sparked the curiosity of many locals. Daniel then learns that Bukit Brown is home not only to the dead, but to colourful pieces of our heritage in the form of decorative tiles on the tombs.
Lastly, he learns about the ways our Singaporean heritage and identity have been so beautifully encapsulated in our national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim. Daniel even has a hand at creating an orchid baby!
