Just curious how do you place diamond 5 I feel like that’s the only way to make it to onyx
you have to constantly play against other players of that skill level and perform.
in season 1 I placed diamond 1 and quickly broke onyx. in season two I placed d3 and got onyx eventually. season 3 I placed d5 and got it within 2 days. etc.
you will climb up by playing at that level. my alt on controller was placed plat 3 in season 2 and I got it to diamond 6 in a month.
there is something to be said about the difficulty of the climb for sure. but if you constantly out perform what your rank currently is your MMR will go up quicker or not be hit as much by losses.
another example was ranked slayer last season. the game bugged out and placed myself and other players including pros at g3. within 2 weeks I had a 80% win rate and was d5.
@@VanadamYT Does it help to play on pc? I notice with my Xbox game can feel very laggy especially on certain maps. Have you played the game on Xbox if so we’re you able to reach onyx?
@kylekelly4979 I've always played on pc. if you're on an original xbox one that can be a significant issue but on LAN for HCS most players play on xb1
