Got back into halo recently. Have played all the games but did not play hardcore since halo 3. I think the biggest difference between this game and old halo is the lack of mics and intent. I have found the best way to be successful is read your teams intent. If they are playing objective hardcore and pushing it nonstop then take a slayer role. Maybe find angles to support their pushes. If they are hanging back then you play the objectives. I am currently plat. I assume this will change some in the next tier as everyone will have better game and map knowledge.

Great vid, thanks for all the tips! Maybe because of the playback/theater it isn't being shown, but upon dying it's also a great idea to rotate your team's cameras to get intel as to what is going on around the map and use the seconds to respawn to prep/think of a strategy.

glad im not the only one noticing the spawns acting goofy. i can see why it decided to put him on that side if someone died on mohawk kind of hard to tell from our pov and with no kill feed. the guy that killed him ran underneath so theres an interaction after he claims the kill off spawn. either way great content as usual keep up the great work!

I feel like this map is super snowbally. Idk how many times I’ve gone up 2-0 and lost 3-2 or been down 0-2 and won 3-2.

Very helpful tips (just finished the first VOD review). I am surely a gold and trying to advance. I need to keep drilling the spawns and positioning into my head. The idea of living to improve spawns was gold (pun intended :D )

This is around my CSR so I see a lot of myself here except my aim is probably worse and I am a bit quicker around the map with slides - which seems to just mean I can get out of position quicker

Diamond games are the worst. People are so oblivious and don't play based off their teammates at all. Even high diamonds are obnoxious.

Lucid should have stayed in hill there. They would have capped that second one. Well maybe not....nades might have got him. Feel like he might have had time to cap that before he died though.

17:35 Renegade flying bridge with no shield, getting the cleanup on Formal and yelling "OH MY GOD" is hilarious to me. Insane that he got two players that week in his position. Faze does a really good job at keeping pressure up when they know they are living rent-free in their opponents' heads. Like, I don't think you would see them do this earlier this match, but given the score, they're making almost disrespectful plays on Optic.

Great breakdown, love content like this. When the next open starts I think it would be good to see you break down one of those games (or even some good plays) in theatre so you can have more control over what you’re showing us too

I've been trying to get more into callouts for my ranked games and at first it was looking like it was really helping a lot but I started to notice that the more I called out the worse my performances were. It's almost like my focus is being split and the scoreboard seems to reflect it, games where I'm silent I'll have consistent 20+ kills and 15ish deaths with around 10 assists. Then when I'm comming it'll flip to 10 ish kills, around 12-15 deaths and around 12 or 15 assists. I feel like it's just growing pains having to do something I'm not really used to and I'm curious if that's something others notice as well when they first started doing comms ?
