The Synesso ES.1 is a unique machine with its phase-based paddle controls that allow for a good amount of adjustments. Many manufacturers claim to build commercial cafe espresso machines for the home barista, but this is one truly blurs those lines.

Dang, your latte art is beautiful. The Synesso ES.1, of course, looks like a Decent but it seems better made, more hefty, with higher quality materials. The rotary pump is music to my ears and, unlike the Decent, there's no carnival lights on the grouphead. Can the paddle be used manually for pre-infusion or must everything be dialed into the app?
