I've have a S410 carbine bought new 9 years ago it still looks like new, I think this is a testament to how they are beautifully crafted instead of mass produced, it still functions flawlessly as it always has, great to see where it was made.
What a fantastic ethic this company has! No wonder they produce some of the best stuff on the market today, it was touching to hear about the loss of Claire's father, but what a true professional she is. I'm sure that her father would b so proud, as I know I would be! As a young air gun enthusiast, I've always loved they air arms brand, and this video just showed my why I love them so much! Keep it up Claire and the team! You have my backing 100%
You do a great job of storytelling. I've watched tonnes of factory visit videos that are made like a crappy versions of How it's Made, but this one really stands out.
Fantastic great video makes me proud to be English knowing that there is a nice story behind the Air Arms dynasty and great that they are thriving and still producing quality airguns nice to know we still have companies like this.
Nicely produced video. Interesting history and nice to see the old photos of the founders..etc. As an Airarms S400 classic owner it's heartening to see my money was well spent. .Nice to also see classic British engineering punching well above its fighting weight as the British are famous for. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of the R&D stuff and sneak peek at the new products due to launch next year..etc. But well done on a very slick video none the less, Matt.
@@suco.man34 if they move production to china definitely they will lose quality and definitely they will lose customers. I would never buy an Air Arms made in china, there are still other excellent options made in the the UK and Germany, you know them
I knew nothing about air rifles until a few weeks ago but I do know about procurement and one name stood out for me....Air Arms....I decided a high quality springer met my specification and so chose the TX200HC. I haven’t been disappointed. Quality is superb and it is consistently accurate......the rest is down to me. It’s great to find a business concentrating on quality and in the UK.....
Really excellent video. I am so pleased to hear that Air arms have a good quality ethic. I am also saddened to hear that they lost two key members back in 2011. When I purchase another air rifle in the future I will certainly be looking to Air arms. Many thanks Sandy
I remember in the 80s trying a high power, the one that resembled an SLR, didn't like, but the TX and Pro sport really are top guns, the best. I've had a good few Weihrauch's and TX200s now my keeper is the Pro Sport as I've never liked PCPs.
Hi Matt, From one local to another, I would like to call this "HUGE" ! Isn't this a first in the You Tube fraternity - a chat with the Boss of a manufacturing concern for air rifles?! It was very informative yet concise as well as very interesting too! Yes, I agree on your earlier response wrt the machining process having been covered previously, yet to listen to a lady speak about her business with such passion, was for me most impressive! Well done, you're on a roll now, just keep it up! Kamma Ridge, PE.
Absolute quality rifles 20 years ago i got a minstral it blew my metor away now own 410 and 510 keep up the good work oh still shooting the minstral too!
I want to be part of the Air arms family, I’m saving up for AA TX 200 ! Just not sure the HC or the longer version? Love the quality and springers is the route I want to go . Thanks Air arms 😊
A hint of how they are made - its more than Weihrauch are willing to do. I think a regulated, bigger cylinder version of the 410/510 would be fantastic.
Great video. I'm with Giles, got to be a Bullpup with the current trend for them. Either way, it's great times to be an airgun enthusiast. Lot's of exciting guns being made. Here's to 2016 being an innovative year!
Nice to see the question being put forward in print then answered, rather well, actually. I for one, found this to be interesting and informative . Good job. Now I'm wondering Matt, did you get time and permission to do some video shooting while there, and will you be bringing this to us in another episode ? Thanks for this.
I own an Air Arms TX200.. I belong to a club and this is an excellent piece of kit. It will hold its own against any other springer. It is a shame that it does not have iron sights. It has quite a recoil, whereas gas rifles have none. But it is beautifully made, much precision and thought has gone into its development
great vid mate love air arms .love my s410 classic it's a dream to shoot and every time I go to the game fairs here in the uk I always head straight for the air arms stand . next gun for me has to be the ultimate sporter
This was a great video! I ordered an S510 XS Ultimate Sporter Xtra a few days ago (my second air rifle after an Edgun) and am excited to receive it. I always wanted a BSA when I grew up in Johannesburg but never got around to grabbing one, and since I now live in the USA practically no one has them available so I looked for alternatives and am glad I did since I have read and heard nothing but good things about Air Arms. I have watched some of your other videos and you do a great job, and it's nice to hear a familiar accent :) I do envy your hunting grounds, I miss the beauty of SA ....
As usual, a great and informative video. Have been contemplating the purchase of a 510 and although I live in the USA, I'm not sure I necessarily want FAC. I like the greater number of shots from the sub 12ftlb and I've watched enough videos of 12lb guns to know that at reasonable range they can be just as deadly as a FAC. So..... Long range shooting isn't really suited for where I live (suburbia) and most shots are 50 yards or less. Your thoughts?
This looks like an excellent factory where they make a great range of products for both the domestic and international markets. A great firm that has internationalized its product range.
So, lets have a guess, export high power Bullpup, or export bigger calibre rifle......the Shot Show would be the place for the launch of that. Good video Matt.
Weldon very informative and excellent to know about the Air Arms one of my favorite Air gun S510 Keep up the good work and all the best. Regards, Khalid
Am still using my s410 carbine and had no problems with it. and she must be atleast 15 years old can't mind when I got it ps still gets used every other day . Thanks AirArms it was a great investment 👍👍👍😜🏴🦕🙂✌🤞
Very good company, Im hope they bring back there Pro Elite breakbarrel back in prodution or a newer version of it. Im really missing a qualty like AA breakbarrel airrifle Doing around 25fpe .22
A fantastic rifle company. I loved my TX200........... Have you ever considered branching into the airsoft replica market? You make a reliable, actuate selection of those, you'd corner the market. Kids and their dads, mainly the dads, spend a fortune on airsoft guns, and repairs.
Why didn't they give you a code to place at the end of your video with a 25% discount rate at a new rifle? That would have been cool if they hooked up your Subs... lol
Peter Pan he gave them a ton of advertisement...... That's how the Internet operates.... 25% discount is nothing to them. When I read your post I thought to myself.... What an old disgruntled hater!!!!!!!
12:17 I'm from Ecuador, I own 2 air rifles, 1 Diana and 1 Gamo... but I dream to own an Air Arms TX200 Mkiii, probably next yer, I have to save some money. But yes, I agree with the lady, this type of air rifle quality is an investment, I hope last all my life. In the other hand, cheap air rifles like Gamo, they just last 1 or 2 years, the Diana (German made) is also a good quality air rifle. Now I only recommend to buy UK or German made air rifles, all the other brands are junk! Regards.
I wish they made a more powerful valve for the s510 in .25 and more ambidextrous stocks in Canada! I'm not a carbine fan and would like a .25 that can do 950 with 25.4s. 850 advertised is a bit too low for my taste, it's a shame theyre very reasonably priced for what they are.
AirArms are the best! I wish I could afford a new one. I have the entry level S200 and I keep looking lustfully at the top guns... S510 please... Send to...
I own 3 air arms rifles and really like them, as a UK shooter ive been disapointed that you dont make a sub 12fpe optimised TX200 anymore the MK3 was a step back for sub 12fpe, also a break barrel would make you more competitive. you will loose market share with springers that i feel as subpar i.e walther branded springers.

Well made and interesting ...of course the Air Arms mantra repeated throughout the video is naturally showing the company in it's best light and when I made a air rifle purchase recently after nearly 30 years out of the sport I so wanted to buy British I really really did , but in the end it was a Weihrauch HW100 (the legend) got my money . I am not argueing that Air Arms don't have good products etc ..but a look around on the forums and internet there was tons of information on both Weihrauch and Air Arms and based on this information the balance was in favour in my opinion for the Weihrauch brand and espescially the HW100. Trying to justify spending on S510 ult sporter it's gonna happen. I love the attitude of the people at AA fantastic to be British.
Just ordered an S510. To my horror, i have since learned that they do not produce them at full power and they aren`t regulated! The low power bothers me more than anything, in a country where you`re lucky to be allowed a peashooter! not taking the s510 to the 11.5 (ish) flbs is unforgivable. All my other guns shoot at 11.4-5 flbs. The s510 arrives on Monday and my excitement has dwindled to zero now :( Oh well, should have researched it better before purchasing one.
+Come2theLight it's not clear what your saying at all, what power is yours shooting at? these shoot full power, and we'll over the UK limit if u have fac
KB Eightyseven Oh i see sorry, the s510`s shoot at around 10.3-5lbs, when the legal limit is 12lbs and the average is 11.5lbs (thats what my others shoot at). I understand about FAC but i`m talking about the sub-12s. But regardless, i am OVER THE MOON with the gun, it is awesome and i couldn`t care less if it`s slightly under powered. It is extremely accurate, very consistent given its lack of regulator, and an all round great rifle. To say i`m impressed is an understatement. So yeah, i take it back now i`ve tested it out in the field. Ironically, it`s now my favourite gun in my collection.

British produced high quality export that is still British, let’s keep it that way!
I hope they still producing in UK, if they move to China, probably they will loose their quality. Regards from Ecuador. I love Air Arms TX200 MKiii
M LU they wouldn’t move to China as lowering the price isn’t part of their thing! They expect you to pay more as you get the best quality
I don't know if it's true but I heard that some of the models are already done in China.

please let mis West know that it wil be great hve a vintage line back that wil be awesome !!!

Do you still own a air arms or you through and through fx only now

Their strength lies on the smaller air tube

Would of been good to see more of the machinery rather than all the talking
The reason I didn't focus too much on the machinery is because there's already a video covering the manufacturing process in depth

excellent video, if i want machinery ill watch How Is It Made.
So we are not going to watch any more videos with the wolvering I guess

only talks where is the actual footage of them making an air rifle ????
I agree with M Dubzem .

Just sounded like someone blowing their own horn instead of showing us.
