Good informative video and confirms my experience with a visit to Air Arms. I live 8 miles away and own an S410F recently acquired second hand which I wanted looked over being still under warranty. Air Arms greeted me super friendly and I cannot speak highly enough of Chris there’s nothing he doesn’t know about his products. First thing he did was tweak the power I wanted an effective vermin control rifle. He provided a fully chronic test which confirmed what he had done but more importantly confirmed the rifle was safe and working as it should. Having owned many different brands the S410F is probably the finest all round rifle. Super light reliable and a joy to own and use. More importantly is super accurate delivering pellet on pellet at 30m without barely trying. Finally it’s British made by a great British firm why anyone would consider any cheap foreign brand is beyond me. Thanks Air Arms
I’ve just watched the tour of the BSA factory. Wow it’s like going back in time, some of the machinery is over 100 years old, same as the staff😂 At least the AA factory looks clean and tidy and has some modern machinery. Hats off to AA for the ultimate Sporter R, So well built and much better than my R 10 just wish AA did a bbuddy bottle rifle, similar to my R10, The R10 is now going as it’s been nothing but trouble from the start! I can only imagine how good a similar rifle byeAA would be, at least it would work😂. Also was wondering what a service like this would cost?-ish..
That was cool too see done. Can I ask how much it was for new cylinder and barrel plus the service. I think my s410 carbine will be comming in for overall. I can't part with it and nothing else. Seams right to buy part from s510 or galahad to hard to pick one 👍👍👍😜🏴🦄🎣😁🤞✌️
So how do you service an Air Arms airgun? Didn't learn anything from this video. I did notice that after rebuilding it seems they didn't test that it was legal. A chrono test would be my minimum requirement before I walked out with it.
William Gobbs that was a lifetime warranty service. Most likely he only paid for the seals and whatever lube and/or cleaning agents they used. So most likely FREE Except for those things. Tho id bet the farm they mark those seals etc... way up and overcharge out the ass for them in order to recoupe something (unless they are a true and blue stand up company that really does their customers and backs up their products the right and honest way, cause really thats why those guns cost $2-$3-$4k usd new. It covers all the Lifetime Warrenty services and then some. [[[Although i do think he said he got the gun USED and not new, and im not sure if and/or how their Warrentys go when it comes to transfering ownership. If they dont transfer then yea a person would normally have to pay out of pocket for those services yet at most likely a discounted rate. Alot of good high end companys that are really standup companys do allow warrenty transfers tho. AGAIN, thats why Air Arms guns cost so much and thats why they have such a strong repeat customer base. ***Like the old saying goes... Put Shit in one hand, and put a Warrenty in the other hand. Now see which weighs more... In Other Words, A Warrenty is Only as Good as The Company that honors it. Ya Digg?*** I wont mention their name but theres a company the sells user friendly Airguns with "Good" Warrentys. However this company will Void your warrenty as fast as you can say wtf if you tinker and/or adjust your USER FRIENDLY Airgun even in the slightest. So in other words their "Good" Warrenty aint worth the paper its printed on. So Word of Advice to new PCP Airgunners on budgets like myself. Be smart and do your due diligence before you shell out 2-3-4k of your hard earned clams on a single airgun. Then in the end youll be dandy as cotton candy. ;) ~Dj~ [03/2018]
@@aboutthemetal8783 .. Barrel is £120 and the cylinder £38 .. o-rings are £10 ish .. plus labour .. I would guess it cost £250 max to get the work done and hes got a new rifle in effect
+Gecko Jenkins Hi - we do version as the AirHeads show and another as a standalone video. I agree that with only one feature in the show this week, we probably should not have uploaded the standalone, but it allows the sponsor to promote it to their Facebook pals. / Charlie

What was the cost compared to the rifles s/h value ?
Very professional company.

Great video!
I love Air Arms.
What was the cost
You should change the title to a tour of a air arms gun

Seems a shame to me. Could have just checked it over, replaced seals etc. cleaned it and it would still be the original gun.
What is the price and how one can get this air rifle in pakistan
How much did it cost to replace the parts ? probably better of putting that money towards a brand new one

It’s not a lifetime warranty, I don’t know where you get that idea from

I might add for some reason my daughter has edited my account (kids eh) I might also add the only other brand I’d consider is BSA
Think you may have uploaded the same video its the same as the service video matey?

Looks like your stock could have done with sanding to get all the marks out of it and good oiling
No matter how you keep an arm arms they always rust
Should upgrade and get an ar15
Um this is in britain he cant have guns
That wasn't a tour. FFS
Absolutely nothing wrong with it but we're going to change it anyway, perhaps Air Arms needs to think about wasting resources and the environment?
