I think you mean Dark Souls clones And hollow knight is actually a soulslike because it’s similar and because it was inspired by Dark Souls And shadow of the Colossus was a big inspiration for Dark souls as well as Titan Souls as he mentioned So their both souls like
Long time since I played through this but I remember having a huge issue with the perspective making it very difficult to tell where is safe from damage. This was mostly an issue whenever there was movement 'upwards' by the boss and they were going to land somewhere and would kill you if were there

I have been on a hunt to satiate my unquenchable thirst for more games like Death's Door and I'm about to start this. Honestly, this review has me concerned whether it will hit the right nerve. I just finished Hyper Light Drifter and that was right on the money. Cross code was too "wander around and read text" for me. Unsighted seems close to what I'm looking for and I'll probably come back to it but I left it in search of something closer after about 2 hours in. I beg of you all to give more games like Death's Door and Hyper Light Drifter.

Nah Team Cherry is 5 raccoons split between 2 trench coats. Ari is the 3 raccoon one because he is taller. Also: Cave story was one person, Dust an Elysian Tail was one person, Undertale was one person, Most of the Five Night's at Freddie's games were made by one person, Super Giant is a small team and all there games are well liked, and there are many more I could list. But still chances are your team won't be them and your game won't be as good as theirs if you are new and just starting out.
My friend always tells me her job is simple, but doesn't mean it's easy. And I feel like that's a philosophy indie devs should take to heart (as this dude clearly does)
Jacob, please play Darkwood. This fellow horror fan assures you you're gonna love it a lot. It's the best experience I had with a game in the longest time. It's a f'cking masterpiece. Truly unique and groundbreaking. It's a MUST!!!

I'm actually impressed with how the difficulty changes the game. Typically difficulty just adjusts how much damage you do and how much you take / how much damage the enemy does and takes. Tweaking fights to have slightly faster or different attack patters is a great way to actually change the difficulty of the game. I wish more games would take a similar approach
Yeah, Titan Souls is a good short game with good challenges, but I feel like he missed mentioning the quality of the soundtrack (it’s good). David Fenn composed amazing tracks for this game. 1 year after first playing the game, I still listen to the OST.
Actually, the arrow is 3d. The only place this ever effects me is on the mask titan, the one in the graveyard. If your arrow isn't going fast enough, it won't hit the titan's weak spot
He never said they were He just compared the designs to South American architecture, and noted that the statues looked like those built by the Olmecs. In no way did he ever imply that the Olmecs were from South America, he made two completely different statements.
"I'm going to try and avoid spoilers" proceeds to spoil the entire premise of the game that you are not the hero. Though having watched an lp of it, it isn't even that deep. Took the guy two hours to beat it and it never gives a solid explanation of what is going on which is a shame. You can leave things a mystery but you need some depth. The world design is beautiful but this is a mobile game for $5 or a hard pass.
Yeah game is fun and well designed but I was pretty disappointed by the lack of story. I'd say buy it for 10$ tops, and that's if you're willing to go for all or most achievements.
this is old, but hearing this guy coom over team cherry was cringe. anyone can do what team cherry did, they just have to do it. lucky for them, they have close friends dedicated to the job as much as one another.
