I think the fog actually added a suspenseful element here..as it gradually lifted, uncovering the Taj in its full stunning splendor. Looking dreamy in the process! So nope, I don't see anything overrated here.

So.....true the taj is breathtaking, brings back memories !! Loving your trip around India, left my heart there 10 years ago.....need to get back, the south is also very beautiful, take care , don't worry about things going wrong for in India "it's part of life there " once a local told me. No one as a direction in India we all just muddle through life......lol have fun !!!!

I also went to Jaipur by bus from Agra, definitely an experience to remember lol! I spent 25 days traveling from north to south and gained about 6kg extra weight on my belly and hips 😫🙏🏽😅omg! I had so much daal too haha! And wait to try the amazing food in the south 😍 I’m so happy for you and watching your vlogs makes wanna go back sooo bad! 🙌🏼 India is a must in anyone’s travel bucket list 🙌🏼

The fog made The Taj look so mystifying! Seriously... like magical. It's great... i can see this through your eyes. I may never get the opportunity or courage so see these wonders. When the sky is clear(atleast relatively speaking)...when the light of the sun touches & reflects off of the facade of the Taj....it is a sight to behold. You will be stuck standing wherever you are once you get your first glimpse of its majestic, mystical splendor.

Question, though... Was the man at the beginning of the video a tour guide or did he just randomly come up to you? I've heard that people will do that and just start talking to you and showing you around before asking to be paid. Was that your experience and how do you handle it?

You missed one point because of fog.... When you will enter the main gate towards Taj Mahal you will see that the Taj Mahal is near but when you will try to enter through the Main gate you will see that the Taj Mahal is going far when you go close to Taj Mahal

Most of the travellers visit Agra for just to see tajmahal . But nobody visits city of bangles and glass firozabad which is just 40 kms far from Agra . I want firozabad to be as much as famous as Agra is . Please travellers , I want you to visit firozabad. Please Google it . You won't get disappointed after visiting this city .

BTW, you are one of the lucky foreigners who get to see taj Mahal before mid 2018. I read taj Mahal will be closed for 2 years now because the Indian government took a commendable step of removing yellowness caused due to acid rain by using ancient methods. They are going to cover it with clay

First time I went to India I wasn’t going to bother with the Taj - I’d seen it a thousand times already in photos and on the TV. Anyway, I ended up in Agra (which is a fairly anonymous place) so off i trundled. It was late evening, still light and I was one of the few ‘visitors’ as I approached. When I first saw the Taj I stopped dead in my tracks. It was stunningly beautiful. It is not overrated.

you are under the weather which is expected as for tourists it is sudden change of air, so it is advised to have some mask to prevent dust and some basic tablets.. It is winter season in india with fog and less visibility from Dec to march. Ideal time of year in North india would be August to November and south india would be any time except the rainy season. Well it was Shiva temple as per archeological findings later converted, not to forgot India had many rulers where earlier it was Hindu king and later Mughals who were then replaced by Britishers. :) But indeed Taj it self is Beautiful.

Akshardhaam in Delhi is more beautiful than Taj in Agra. There are many More beautiful monuments in India than Taj Mahal which are underrated or not.properly popularized

Instead of Taj Mahal you must visit Akhshardham Temple in Delhi In evening. Its beautiful.
If anything, I would say the Taj Mahal in underrated. Way more beautiful in person than in pictures.

In the very north..like himachal pradesh,jammu kashmir,little punjab....delhi little down to extreme north...in winter,and rainy season...
North east is always like that....
Rajasthan is hottest region of india as it has deserts...
Delhi has fog all over if you visit it from june to feb...
In Dec and Jan northern India is like that

You can feel it whem you first reach inside...the first gate and the taj slowly becomes larger and larger...
so you didnt saw the bottom of yamuna river by standing over roof of taz . it was spectacular
