I've only been to Italy once, and on that trip we stayed the longest in Ravello. It was just lovely and fun. I wish I could go back and spend more time in the gardens and visit all the little shops and walk on all the little streets. So special, so fun. We visited the Amalfi Coast in 2018 and stayed in Minori which allowed a beautiful hike up to Ravello. We determined after visiting Ravello for just a few hours that if we were ever able to return we would definitely like to stay a few nights in that charming village! Thank you for taking me back to that beautiful area to relive some of the highlights of that day! I love your vlogs, they are perfect!

Found your channel while planning our honeymoon for the fall of 2022 and just loving your insight! We’re likely doing 2 weeks and want to spend time in Sorrento, Positano, Ravello and Capri. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences traveling between Positano and Ravello, super helpful.
As someone who know the area well. Make your base Sorrento, from there you can do day excursions to Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, and Capri. You can also get the hydrofoil over to Naples which is a wonderful old city full of atmosphere.
id love to see a video on your entire Italy trip which includes how many days u stayed in each city, prices for each place, DAILY prices for each day, and overall how you planned the trip! i’m trying to go to italy but i’m not sure how much i need to save, how many days i should stay and ect.

Discovered your video I guess by YT recommendation as I watch Nicki Positano, as Positano Amalfi and Ravello were truly wonderful places we've been to and more special because I met up with my mom there, me and family coming from Canada and my mom and niece from the Philippines...unfortunately we did like day tours on each so not really able to soak them in, your experiences look really fantastic as you've spent days on each...been binging on your videos the last few days and can't wait to see more!

@@DanaBerez Our options were very limited because we will be there at the beginning of August. I was inspired by your hotel and the patios, unfortunately that spot wasn't available anymore. We went with Auditorium Rooms - a small B&B close to the Piazza, also with a private balcony - can't wait for that sunsets and wine! :) Was a two night stay not too long for you guys? We just want a place to relax after the business of Naples and Amalfi town.

Hi Dana! Been watching your videos and getting so excited for my trip in June! We are planning 8/9ish days -- 3 in Rome, 3 on the Amalfi Coast, 2 in Ischia. How many days was your trip and what luggage do you own? Trying to find a suitcase that is big enough to hold was I need but will also be something I can carry, walk around with, and take on trains + buses!

Love your videos! I’m planning my trip to amalfi, and want to stay in 2 towns (cuz moving accommodations can be exhausting ha). I’m trying to decide between 5 nights in Positano (with a day trip to Capri) and 3 nights in Ravello… OR 5 nights in Positano (with a day trip to Ravello) and then 3 nights in Capri. Which combo would you recommend?? 😊

Palazzo Avino has the Clubhouse by the Sea, and it's the best part of the hotel! The hotel's usurious rates are not worth it, though. The rooms are small and rough.

That patio was connected to your room!!!!! I thought it was the hotel patio. What the hell? How much was the stay if you dont mind me asking?
So it was a shared patio with the other rooms, but no one really used it when i was there so it felt private!

Ich war in den 90 Jahren mit meiner Frau Karin und unserem Hund Fitsche in Ravello, ein wundervoller Ort an der Amalfi Küste.
Dana, I have found mixed reviews on the drinking water in Rome, Naples, and the Amalfi Coast. Is it safe? Did you have any problems? Some say just carry a water bottle and refill it at public fountains, others say bottled water only. Thanks for your help! Our trip starts next week.
I'm neapolitan and i can assure you that our water is perfectly safe , no need of buying expensive mineral water.

Im just curious to know if i want to take this trip, how can i get my away around? I see you have a phone with google directions. Do i need to get a phone line there
It’s helpful to have a phone plan that works overseas we have sprint and T-Mobile and it worked (slowly) but it worked for basic directions. Also, you can purchase a SIM card when you arrive in Italy but you have to make sure your phone is unlocked first.

It is popular in the part of Italy yes
not all beaches are pebble, many are sandy, for example in Amalfi, Salerno, Vietri sul Mare, Atrani, almost all cities have both types of beach
