Years back I knocked on a lot of those doors. I got everything from pop and cookies to a gruff "You don't see a G** d*mn for sale sign on it do ya?!!?" Lol that'll teach a guy a little about people. Once in a while I bought one, but never found a "private Malone's" car. I got a lot of "not for sale" and yes - "gonna fix it up/restore it". Ha.. you'd be surprised how many times after seeing a car sit for years they'd actually say "I'm working on it" or "I was going to - (put an engine in, pull it in the garage, start on it) - THIS weekend" lol. Only to watch it melt for years more. So your ideas for the title are spot on. Great job! Like the tarp. Never thought of/saw the shop towel... works perfect. All your ground effects - grass, dirt, leaves, etc really work. Are those leaf punches like a scrapbook thing or?? Thanks for sharing
So glad you liked it!!! Oh yea, the ol' "I'm working on it" that line sure is popular too. 🙂 Yes, those are punches that punch out 3 - 4 leaves each time like a scrapbook thing. They (Green Stuff World) offers several different shapes and sizes.
Nice looking diorama. With that bag/box of crap you really didn’t have much choice other than to build a diorama. Good work on this one. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent Tim...but I would never leave a car uncovered....let alone throw an old pool cover on top and let it rust! Lol you got it right on!!... Mopar or no car.
