Put a port and tune it properly! Or just seal it! But, please don’t leave a hole like that! Please! It spoils everything!
If you will do it, I can guide you in that I’ll help you making the sound better!
Give the information and dimensions of the enclosure and mention the size of hole you made.
I’ll help you tune the speaker.
Or just you can seal it and add a passive radiator.
I can recommend some of the passive radiators suitable.
Please! We can improve the sound quality by 80%!!!
