    I made these for my husband last night, after I searched "best crispy oatmeal cookies". My husband said they are the best he's ever had. He gave it a 10 out 0f 10! We froze them like you suggested. I baked up 4 to serve my guests tonight. They raved about them! Thank you!

    Great recipe.. i made them wheat free (mix of rice, tapioca and coconut flour) and use choc drops rather than raisins...it worked well, nice and crispy on the edge and chewy in the middle. but HOLY MOLY, too sweet. i dropped the sugar down 100g over both types and it was still eyewateringly sweet..

    Does it matter what kind of oven that you use whether it's a big oven or a smaller oven like the ones you plug up in the wall? I was reading that if you fon't use Brown sugar it will likely get more cruncher, is this true?

    • @HowToMakeDinner
      @HowToMakeDinner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Every oven is different, so you might find you need a lower or a higher temp. And yes. Brown sugar gives the soft texture!

      It’s an All Clad (can’t find it anywhere on their site anymore) but honestly I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s a bit slow, and gives me error messages for no reason sometimes. I’d look for an Ozeri or a Kamenstein brand one if I were to buy another. I’ve considered doing a review but I don’t know what I’d to with all the scales I’d have to buy! America’s test kitchen did a pretty thorough review a few years ago which might help! th-cam.com/video/hSm1hoyjoyY/w-d-xo.html

      I made this up with Orgran No Egg and they turned out okay, although I gave them a bit too long in the oven and they came out a bit too crisp. I’ll try flax eggs next time and make up half the amount, it makes up a _lot_ of dough!
