5 years ago my mom ask me what I wanted for my birthday I said nothing really so I picked up the paper and I saw Streisand was going to be in concert soon and my mom said would you like to go and I said hell yes so my mom paid for me to go see her at this
concert I will never forget it. I lost my mom last year I miss her terribly. Thanks Barbra and thanks mom I love you always.

I was here a while ago crying because I missed my little daughter who passed away, listening to Thimoteé Chalamet singing this song. A deep pain invaded my heart, and tears were streaming down my face. But, scrolling my cell phone on TH-cam, I saw Barbra and clicked on the video. And as if by a miracle, upon hearing her voice SINGING THE SAME SONG, an infinite peace invaded my heart like a miraculous balm! How is this possible, my God? This woman's voice singing dries any tears and soothes any pain!❤️❤️

Streisand is a national treasure. She is the greatest talent and I've been a big fan all my life, always looking forward to her work, whether it was musical recordings, tv specials, magazines/books with her story and pictures, interviews. I always thought she was a beautiful woman.

Currently reading her book and highly recommend it if you haven’t read or listened to it yet! Full of memories and all from Barbra herself. I think she is one of the greatest talents and a very down to earth person.

I wish I could tell her that she should not worry that she has never been given an Oscar. When I went to my local cinema to see the film 'Nuts' at the end the whole audience stood up and applauded. That the best honour she could have.

I can still remember the first time that I heard Barbra Streisand sing, I was around 10yrs old and at the cinema with my dad and after the film’s finished and we were all leaving they played a film trailer and it was Barbara singing Don’t Rain on my Parade, I just looked at this woman singing on the screen and the hairs on the back of my head stood up, I didn’t know who she was then but I fell in love with her voice right then, I’m now 70yrs old and an still in love 🥰 with this woman’s voice, and it’s good to know that I’m not by myself in feeling this way, there are millions around the world 🌎 September 2021 Love to you all around the world ❤️💐🎤
Barbra Streisand's music HEALS. Few years back, I was never accustomed to any of her songs. It wasn't until I went through what I can say a "darkest" phase of my life, where I stumbled upon one of her songs which eventually led me to know more of her music. I was in my spiritual healing process at that time, and Barbra Streisand songs has become my daily dose. Her songs reconnected me to my innermost self that I eventually see the meaning of my life and the need to never give up no matter how many people may try to put me down and discredit me, because God is in full control of my life (YENTL songs..to mention an example). Barbra's voice is a gift from God. ❤

I´ve always loved this song from the original 70´s movie and now having this sung by beloved Barbra at this late in life it is a heavenly gift, an utterly soothing balm in the present state of our world in this deeply turmoiled end of a spiritual cycle. And what a deeply spiritual introduction as well, almost shamanic.
