I've driven both RX300 and BMW X5, have to say, RX300 feels much more insulated and comfortable, proper luxurious experience I must say. Tbf, BMW cars are known to handle well in corners, this includes their SUV which I noticed when comparing our X3 and a Mercedes GLC. The GLC feels floaty, while the X3 gives more road feedback, feel much more spirited.
Fair comment. Each product has probably different design objectives. The designers and engineers put the brand philosophies in the product nomenclature. BMW prioritises driving, Lexus prioritises comfort. Merc is somewhere in between, but I am not so clear where they want to be. Have not tested a car from Mercedes in a long time.

looking for a second suv, currently driving a q7 tdi, I've test driven a glc43 coupe sadly it's not comfortable at all. the rear seat is useless, soundproof is so bad, tire noise are bad. test driven a GLE coupe previous gen but that is a little over budget. went for rx300 instead. it is so comfortable , I kid you not. it is super comfortable! getting a red interior to increase a bit of hp lol. just hopefully it wont age that fast due to it's angular design. Your view uncle?

IMHO I think lexus is a really good car and even more efficient and practical than BMW and Mercedes, but as in Malaysian eyes we still prefer BMW and benz..but the matter of facts its becuz of the brand name in this country we chose German car since young ,more prestiges and well known

There is always enough power, especially on long runs. What is important on long runs is how long the top gear is, to get you better efficiency.
