    Great! I’ve done a fair bit with multiple Koalas inside AUM. I was watching and thinking this was just the same, then you hit me with the automation and switching between sets of automations. Ok, you convinced me, maybe I should get into Drambo 😃

    Interesting video. So you don’t use the sequencer in Drambo? Do you just use it as a host so you can use automation and effects?

      Yes. But if I use flexi then I use Drambo sequencer. I really like the visual aspect of the automation in Drambo.

    That’s similar to using AUM. It’s more like a mixer.

      AUM is great for experimentation. Koala works great inside it too!

    I can't get Drambo to map or automate any of Koala's parameters. Anyone else having this issue? If I turn on Koala's native midi mapping feature, it's silent when played in Drambo. In any case, I can't get any of Koala's params to show up as macros. Other plugins work fine. Stumped.

    Koalas sequencer is the worst part of Koala. using it Drambo gives the option to actually have a usuable sequencer for triggering koala samples and recording/ koala fx as midi and/or automate them.

      I’m great w koala….total moron w Drambo. Any tuts on Yt that elaborate more on that concept? I feel like I’m getting everything I can out of Koala w AUM where I’m just making diff midi output busses for diff elements in a koala song so I can put like Transient on my kicks or Slowmachine on a melody for example, but I feel like there’s so much more that can be done using Drambo especially or atom2 in the mix n also utilize my midi controllers better. Anywhere you can point me to or tips u can think of off hand?

      I forgot about slowmachine , love that effect. For Drambo , (sound for more) has the most tut about every feature in a straightforward.
      There’s another guy ( Richard’s) who gets into more advanced techniques but he doesn’t intergrate other apps so much. And there’s my bro ( bjammingsincebirth) that has great tutorials too

      @@RhymingontheBeats thanks for the reply. Just caught ur channel a few days ago n it’s one of my new faves on iPad audio. I LOVE koala and I work in Ableton to do my “real” shit but every single thing I do starts with a koala song in AUM that I run to Ableton using IDAM and it’s been awesome. But I’m pretty sure Drambo could prob benefit me a bit by helping out with arranging my patterns into a song structure since Koala itself is kinda built to tweak samples and sequence loops, so I’m thinking atom2 as piano roll inside Drambo could probably fit that role and save me the time of reorganizing a bunch of random 4/8 bar loops or starting over with a drum set of the samples n sequencing again in Live. Anyway, I’m def interested in seeing where u go with the Drambo/Koala integration cuz yea I’ve seen TOnS on Drambo, but I’m not trying to do modular shit, just wanna optimize my workflow n it seems like ur a few steps ahead on that.
      Also props on the channel. Way more fun n easy to watch then most of the ones still posting a lotZ I think they way u explain it n the apps u use makes it mad relevant n I hope u n ur channel have a quick n solid come up n u can make some nice side hustle $ doin ur thing. We really need a new channel that’s edited as well as like Haq Attack but way more to the point than Sound Test Room. Not to be a dick but they cover so much good apps but the way they do it is just zzzzzzz…..lol

      @@TheDonLemonSnickety I remember getting Koala a long time ago after watching HAQ, but I didn't use it until a few updates later.I like simple modular , I don't have the patience for patching cords. Thanks for the message man , it is appreciated. I still don't have a system to getting it from AUM to a daw, I've been using it more like a playground.

    Thanks for your video, question…. Can I record Beat Maker or my other apps inside Drambo, I can’t find how I can do it.

    • @RhymingontheBeats
      @RhymingontheBeats  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can't use beatmaker 3 inside of drambo but you can use drambo inside of beat maker3. If you are using drambo as an auv3 , you can't use other apps inside of it . Hope that helps, I'll make a quick video over the weekend.

    the one thing that i dont know or i dont understand how to, and that is how to do triples in drambo pianoroll, because there's only settings for 1/2 1/4 1/8 1/16 1/32 and 1/64 but no triples option that I know of !!
    can you give me any tips of how to ?

    • @RhymingontheBeats
      @RhymingontheBeats  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think you can do it at the moment in side of drambo but you should be able to record into drambo with another app that can.
