Well done video. Thins truck and mine (1995 2RZFE I4) are very similar and I am going to change out the IAC. Been diagnosed as problematic but has responded to cleaning a couple of times but that's not a permanent fix. Looked all over for an OEM Toyota part, been discontinued & out of stock everywhere I've contacted. Even some of the well known aftermarket (Wells, Walker, etc) manufacturers can't supply there are many out there listed on Amazon & The Bay, but manufacturer & quality are totally unknown. So, where did you find one for the truck in the video and is it holding up after 9 months or so? Thanks in advance for any info.
Man that’s a bummer, flashing CEL usually means a misfire, so once you pinpoint which cylinder(s) is it misfiring you should be able to whittle down what’s causing it. Good luck!
What was the reason for the service? I am going to do the same to mine but because my truck won’t turn on due to it idle at low rpm’s and I suspect that is the problem
It was having rough idle issues. Surging and occasionally dying at red lights. This fixed the issue and the owner is 100% satisfied. You may be able to get away with just cleaning the IACV and testing it

Just got a 95 taco same problem with check engine light flashing, run like on his last leg 😂😂
