Timing couldnt have been better. I recently started watching refael since hes one of few tall but jacked "heavy" cali athletes out there, and he also touched on diet topics as well. Good video, keep it up bro👍
i really love listening to you talk like a calisthenics podcast so i stayed till the end. also yeah i totally agree about the genetics part. everyone has a set point for their body fat%.
After a bulk going from 56kg to 85kg in almost a year and a half, with a height of 170cm, i was so heavy that i almost replace calisthenics with gym because i barely could do a muscle up, now after a 6 months of cut, i weight 70kg and im back with calisthenics and i feel invencible on the bar, my goal for now is to keep this weight with my body fat percentage and currently training front Lever and handstand pushups without wall
@@iSwearToCod yeah for sure, yesterday i was able to do 6 free Handstand push ups and i can hold a Straddle Front Lever for almost 10 seconds, so i guess things are going well
I see that you are very good at providing valuable information. I respect every video that you posted and I like your style and the useful tips that you provide. I feel you are the right person to ask for tutorials, so here I am )) . please do a tutorial on the swing 360 but if you can, do it for someone who does not have access to a low bar, only to a high bar. Show steps on how to learn it safely and overcome the fear. also please do a tutorial on hefesto and impossible dips and for impossible dips talk about that pain on the triceps when we lean back and how to avoid it. I personally have the same problem for leaning back in V- Sit. If it is a flexibility issue please show us how to overcome it safely and efficiently
You are wonderful. Can you make a video explaining to us what the calisthenics training program should be like so that we can advance in the basics and learn the advanced skills? I want to learn the planche and iron cross skills, but I do not know how to combine them with basic exercises or make a dedicated day for them. Please answer my question. thanks
thanks man, but i have a question: let's say i do small amounts of skill work on a cut, but slightly more dips and pullups (which would be the opposite normally), will that be good to not lose any muscle and strenght?
Something about your way of speaking is just so great, it makes me listen to your videos till the last second every time, and also the information seem pretty great, thank you for your effort! Btw, where are you from?
Can you make a video about how you actually train the planche/frontlever? Sets/Reps and so on. Sure this would be appreciated. Including the difference between pros and intermediates
Hey man, I saw you deleted a lot of your videos (wrist/forearm routine, front lever tips, fastest way to HSPU). Will you upload these types of videos again sometime?:)
Currently 140lbs at 5'8 as long as i build muscle in my delts and back even biceps, triceps AND train the skills specifically I am doing ight which is why Refael can do cool stuff on rings being how heavy he is
Bro I went to other place due to some important works and after 20 - 25 days i recently came back again But I lost my full front lever and Straddle Front Lever - how to achieve again ?? 😔
Pls answer this question : For SKILL IS it better to be light and slightly muscular (like i am 1.80 and 60kg) Or should someone clean bulk up to gain that muscle mass, which will then help with gaining strength
Adding muscle mass in specific areas required for skills (front delts, lats, mid traps) is an awesome idea and you'll be missing out if you stay at the same weight forever
for people who is under 18 don't do a cut because you will not grow and your body development would be affected, its better to do a lot of cardio, eat healthy, tracking how much protein you need to eat a day for example I need 176g of protein a day and get everything mostly from training, then when you are 18 you can cut
Agreed, thats a smart and logical decision. however if you're overweight already as a teen some calorie deficit and discipline wont kill you and will actually teach you some things
Of course, Im not promoting being energy deficient. Im just telling what to consider if you decide to do it. Building muscle and strenght is eaisest done in surplus, I do it every 2-3 months
Dude, we all stay till the end with notifications turned on. Information you provide is so valuable 👍🏼
Hahaha thank you for the support man 🤝
damn so many people fell for this bait
what a video. Stayed until the end. Keep it up brother

He's 170cm (same as me) but he's also 85kg i think (7kg heavier than me)
You'd be surprised how much people actually watch everything to the end

awesome man, keep pushing!

Hey bro, love your videos. I was wondering if you trained legs since they are so phat, and if they affected your statics in your experience.
Hey man, I saw you deleted a lot of your videos (wrist/forearm routine, front lever tips, fastest way to HSPU). Will you upload these types of videos again sometime?:)
Thanks bro for a lot of useful information
Appreciated man 🤝
5:18 ayoo pauseee
It feels impossible to do any skills weighting more than 70kg, when I was at 67kg or less I felt like super man
You pribably didnt consistently practice the skills and didnt add muscle mass in the areas that would benefit you.
@@SasaVenos Yeah, Biggest mistake I ever did was training legs
Till end 😬👏🏽
Simply built different
I really enjoying your videos!

can you talk more about how to hold a HS with technique and not power please
I will upload a handstand tutorial soon man
@@SasaVenos alright bro
So if you go to the bed at 11pm you just can drink coffe until 1pm?
Usually yeah, but sometimes i drink it at like 6pm if i have to train, run or something and fall asleep just fine
@@SasaVenos understand. I only drink at maximum 3pm cuz if a take after that time i dont sleep well

the same way you achieved them the first time just 3x faster due to muscle memory

@@SasaVenos ofc, if you are overweight I think you should go to the doctor, that can says what to do in your situation
how to have big back?
Do pullups for lats and rows for the traps, do them a lot and focus on deep stretch and slow eccentric while in a calorie surplus
Hello bro
