The millions of screws weren’t enough to hold down the air box , they had to add that clip? Lol Thanks for the video if I had more space and tools I’d may try to do myself but for now it’s going to the shop when this needs to be done

I put. Magnet on my screw driver
To magnitise it on the end that way when I take out a screw it holds the screw on the end so I don't drop it in the moter

    Hey Mate,
Thanks for the video on how to change the air-filter. I've got the 2023 Ninja 1000 SX (probably the same machine tbh) and wondering about the airbox. I'm yet to do it myself, as with this bike I've been using the mechanic. Curious about the setup, as it looked like there was some sort of plate under the airfilter. Is that to control/lower airflow for emissions?

I would have thought it was the 1st stage perhaps in terms of anything really large coming through the intake before getting to the filter.. I could be wrong though.

I have the same bike, when I saw the carbon fibre fairing pieces just under the tank, I thought I had been ripped, until you took the front pieces off and I saw it was tape...🤣🤣🤣, I like it, I may get some myself.

Check out my other videos where I applied the carbon wrap. It is fairly straight forward process.

It looks more onerous than it is. Understand though some people prefer not to mess around with it. Thanks for watching.

Same here , I always break a clip or two when taking off plastics , so to the dealer it will go
