When they are pulling as much G's as a fighter pilot (maybe not quite as much) they have to be smooth so they don't get ill or just to make it through. Professional drivers are much more smooth drivers. Reminds me of Alain Prost...... Mr. Smooth himself.

Even if you didn't start Karting at age 4, find a track nearby where you can learn a lot of skills that will help you in everyday driving. The laptime itself isn't really unrealistic, the 919 EVO (which is about as fast as a F1 car) was also in theory able to go under 5min, but the drivers didn't want to risk their lives for it. What is unrealistic though is how you're able to drive over curbs with no real effect.
@KLM 117 Less than 0.8s faster around SPA (previous year, this years F1 was actually faster), gaining all of its time on the straights and losing to F1 car in the corners. Considering that Nordschleife is quite a bit more cornering focused track than SPA, i doubt that the 919 would be faster than a F1 around it

Interesting that the back straight speed for the F1 car. was 324 top and the Porsche 919 was 359. But obviously the cornering makes the difference allowing top speeds of 324 on the short straights on the front side in particular. Other than the problem of frightening crashes as before, the only reason for F1 not to return to Nördschlife is the radical new tire compund designs necessary to do so.
Nice lap, im coming after your time on my g29 setup after i finally beat the 5:19 that Porsche did. Im using the Audi R18 with the power cranked up but have only got 5:22.24 as my best so far.

So 15 attempts later I nailed down a 5:22 in Cockpit View (super hard imo) and in Ground View I got in a 5:18 (felt more comfortable) Honestly they did this car wrong in my opinion because if you touch the Kerbs and go over 50% acceleration then you’ll automatically spin out as where in the Super Formula car you can take any corner with ease and it’s a bit harder to spin out with that car. That restricted me a bit and made me nervous I was gonna bin it sooner rather than later. But you actually kept the car in check very smoothly and nicely. Although I did forgot you held the previous world record for fastest Tomahawk hot lap that went viral on your channel! It got broken by 5 seconds the next day :( You still don’t disappoint :)
Nice performance but to be honest, Gran Turismo is not really a drive simulation dur to it's arcade settings (no damages and wheel temp not affecting the handling). Try to do the same in a real sim like project cars or asseto corsa... some of your wheel impact on some of the apex of this track should have broken the suspension. but it stays a nive performance
I've done a 4.30 in the Redbull X2010 in GT4, which is aboiut a minute slower than the record 3.29 lap I watched. In reality no F1car is likely to beat the 919 EVO hybrid lap.of 5.19.**edit. That was a great drive, well done!
The whole lap I was thinking, “Suspension settings are so different on this car because the surfaces around the banked sections, and the curbs, are much more jolting than this.” Then I discovered it wasn’t real - but it sure was good anyway.
very impressive run, there is no room for error on this track. But watching this video also shows why we will never see a regular F1 car on this track in race mode, needs some sort of Baja Suspension Setting ;)

I've done this track with the Ford GT LM SPECII Test Car in a pretty decent 6:50.270, but this absolutely gave me a heart attack.
