Burger King didn't come to San Antonio Texas until the late 1970s/early 1980s because there was already a hamburger place called Whopper Burger which Burger King later bought out for a lot of money. They were tons better than Burger King. They also had fish and chips along with fried shrimp too. My parents loved the place and took us there when I was a kid in the 1960s. There was no McDonalds there at the time too. They didn't come until the mid to late 1970s.
This is a funny story. I could have sworn i looked up both companies before and they had reached an agreement that allowed the NC chain to use the name without issue. So now they form an LLC and now they are getting sued?

Both burger restaurants were founded 0ver 65 years ago so I believe that the statute of limitations for suing has long past.
