I couldn't agree more George, I wouldn't like to have any sort of emergency in the third hotel and need front desk assistance even for a minor event. That receptionist is nothing but bad mannered and rude, no doubt flat out working looking at her phone. Treated Daz a potential customer with total disrespect. Well done Daz, another great video, I admire your demeanor with saying nothing to this behaviour.
The Lodge Hotel (the first hotel) looks absolutely fine if you just need a place to lay your head, rooms look clean and spacious, restaurant downstairs, bars all around, it's in a good location too, £15 a night it's a bargain, I'd stay there no problem 👍🏻.
My take🙂: If you are here for 2-3 weeks, get a better room or a much better room, make it a part of the holiday experience, you cant find quality hotels nowhere in the world that cost less money. On the other hand, for a 8-10-12 week longstay a calm location near the sea is a great option. Some hotels on soi 3 offer deals of 15-20 t baht a month, that is what I would chose.
Thanks, Daz. I actually booked my Hotel after your last Budget Hotel Video. In the past, I have booked 5 stars but I realized I was only there in the evening to sleep/shower... I have a pool and gym at my place Why would I travel to the other side of the world for the same thing? Budget accommodations are a great choice and leaves more cash for nightlife/ food/adventures, EP membership Etc.
The receptionist at the third hotel had zero personality & showed no real enthusiasm in wanting to help you Daz & the forth hotel room description could be described as ( 4 walls, wash basin & prison bed) though the staff were lovely!!! Thanks for the tour!
After watching your Video about these medium budget Hotels, I am happy that I was able to secure this year Claudio's Boutique Condo - 52 sqm, - 1 bedroom and it is so much better and nicer for 950,- a night, and it has a great Gym and 3 swimming pools and Sauna and Claudio is also a great guy. Thanks again for all your excellent Videos.
I have stayed with Claudio also. He's got a nice place in a excellent location and is a good host. Some of us who know him refer to him comically as "Mr. Herzog"
I have stayed a Punyapa hotel. It was good. Firm to medium bed. 2nd road noise wasn't much of an issue. Crazy thing about it was the elevator. You had to go up or down a half flight of stairs to get to the elevator. It did not stop on the floor. Not for someone with mobility issues, but it was a decent place. I appreciate you always commenting on the mattress. The hard mattresses are usually the only thing I hate about budget hotels. Pattaya is still good value. Complaints about rising prices are worldwide and Pattaya is no exception
Great video. As always. Have you ever reviewed the March and May hotels? Also how about hotels with pools, balconies around 40 to 60 usd range. I would love to see your favorite ones that fit that criteria.
Always appreciate your vidoes, Daz! I just got my DTV Visa and i'm very excited. If you ever see/hear about any condos which contains a sort workdesk, i'd love if you have some hints. ^_^
@@everythingPattaya I’ve booked it for next years visit but just not sure. I don’t see anything recently. I love your content and if you’re making a list of places to review it would be appreciated. Thank you!
The second place is really good. A balcony and big room. The Pattaya Beach one is good at 700 THB, although no balcony. Pool, though. The Lodge is cheap. Small, mind.
Daz can I ask you to inquire about pet friendly hotels? Am moving to the Kingdom next year with my two Feline Friends in tow. Till we find a condo during my first month. Do not mind paying extra and the cats are very well behaved. They don't scratch anything but cat scrathers which I would keep in room for the safety of sofa etc. . . so fa so good me hopez! 😅
ALL Hotels in Pattaya have air con, the only rooms which don't are the very cheap rooms which the girls rent and these are not hotels, they are private rooms for rent.
Will you also put some mid - and high-priced hotels on a video again ? Or maybe a video with some good valued superior rooms ? Love your content, keep it going 👌
You can't even get a camping permit for that price in most places, and nowhere as safe too ! . but bang for the buck, $30-$40 works much better ! But you do what you can, when you can, is understood I hope !
Out of those I liked the first one the most. The second one the room was nice but no refrigerator and I never liked hotels that you had to carry up steps to the lobby and the elevator looked weird that it stops between floors.. the last one not really a fan especially the no window rooms.
For 10 euros more you have hotels like AA Golden Beach, D Hotel, D Express, much better and still cheap, and in my opinion in a better area, near the Buakhao (except Golden Beach)
I went to look at the lodge last time was over . Not very friendly staff I usually always start my trip round the corner in dynesty inn ! Is a great area but u can get a lot better cheers gaz Whyte
I have an interesting situation, my wife and I are in a more modern relationship arrangement so I can see other ladies entirely independently. It's just how we agreed from the first date, because I'm not one to tie down really. Anyway, she'd be coming with me to Pattaya if I EVER make it there with this economy. If I were to go, we'd probably have our main stay at a resort hotel on the beach, sparing little expense because it will be our two weeks in heaven. If I wanted to take someone back from the nearby bars just ST, is this ideal, assuming I'd be paying for two rooms at a time basically? Bringing her to where my wife is wouldn't be an option for me, that's part of our agreement (out of sight out of mind). I've considered maybe a 2nd mid tier hotel to rent out for two weeks just for those events but all the gent club videos have me questioning the value as I doubt I'll be bar fining from Tree Town or Myth Night as much. That might happen though, I don't know. I might go absolutely crazy finally dealing with decades of absolute brutal repression in the southern US. I also remember you saying Soi 6 places have rooms above usually or nearby, did I misunderstand? Anyway, hope I can get some details from you on this.
ALL the Soi 6 bars and ALL the Gents Clubs have ST rooms, there is NO need to get a 2nd hotel Also, Soi 6 is full of young staff if that's your preference
Well that's good. My last trip I booked an airbbnb apartment for a few weeks at $23 a night including utilities. Had a full kitchen and living room and bedroom and bathroom. Still not all that big but definitely okay. Off of Soi Buakhau. Only issue was it was on fourth floor and no elevator LOL in addition to bad water pressure. Ugh. At least it had a washer to use for clothes. Cleaning twice a week. I'm always on the search for good rentals for a week or two.
That last ones balcony was like an isolation cell 😂 Yes they are all going to be in a noisy area at that price, but I suppose if you can deal with that the most important things you need to consider are 1. Working air con. 2. A room safe 3. Any joiner fee.
Thanks for the tour ! If you can't afford another $10 for the pool/gym and maybe sauna, maybe wait to go? Ok, just go, but remember, you can't take it with you !!🙏🥳😎
No question, #2 with the action balcony ! Pay the neighbor a couple bucks to use a pool.😊 Better yet, spent another $5-$10 for lots more after all, aren't you worth it ?😊
The adage "you get what you pay for" is never more true than these 4 hotels. Another excellent video Daz!

Thanks for the updates of hotels Daz, always appreciate it.

Spot on.
I'm staying at Sutus Court 4 on Soi Buakhao. Inexpensive and comfortable. I expect to extend it for another month.
"The Lodge" is a great location. The restaurant on the corner is one of my favorites. Easy access to baht bus and walking distance to beach.
Thanks for sharing ! 😎

Good video Daz; showing us over many videos the depth and range of accommodation options when in town.
Nice 👍 Good Price for this Hotels. There is a lot of cheap Hotels in the City Center. My Favorite is Charlie Place. Thx Daz for your Channel. 👍

It wasn't easy, but you made it. Thank you for your efforts.
Very informative. But, not for me. Thanks for your efforts as always Daz.
Hi Daz, thank you for the information. Do you have info or video on mid range hotels in great area? Like $40-$70 range a day? Blessings!
2nd one was the best room. 3rd more than decent if pool more important than balcony
Sir, thank you for your video. Is it possible to ask next time for the price at high season?
Have you done a review of metro apartments? I was looking but I don’t see any videos. Thanks

Hey Daz whitch is the best place to stay for the Bon bar 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Are these all guest friendly, and no extra charges?
Ha Ha of course , only 5* hotels charge
What hapoened to you saturday night at town bar killer pool?
À room without a window and no tv😅Are they serious at the Lodge? 🤔
Daz can you please add smart TV Netflix, Amazon prime availability to the room categories too please
not useful. Carry a Laptop or Amazon TV stick with you if you like that. I never use the TV in holiday.
Do they all have WiFi and air conditioning? Thanks for the video daz.
Yes, all have both
Very nice 🎉

DAZ at What price do the hotels that start with air-conditioning
AS AIR-CON is a must for me
ALL Hotels in Pattaya have air con, the only rooms which don't are the very cheap rooms which the girls rent and these are not hotels, they are private rooms for rent.
what you would get in london for no less than 100 pounds would make these hotels look like the ritz.remember that.

I agree. There's too much focus on low quality budget hotels, and apartments. I also want to see more mid-priced hotels.
Bring on the cheapies!

No balcony not for me.I I fly from the us 24 hours who would ever stay at a budget place. Just my opinion.
I think you get what you pay for. Its a no from me. I like to have a better hotel room and pay a bit more. but each to their own.
No window, balcony or tv…. So they put a bed in a cupboard.
Depressing hovels, all four of them.
No window , no balcony , on holiday ?.
The last room in the last hotel with no window is a definite no! I'm claustrophobic.

no elevator, wouldn't consider it... that's hard time
