i have stayed in Intown hotel many times 18 years ago and have fond memories of this place ! in resent years it had gone down hill but it looks like its had a lick of paint ! you cant be in a better location so i am going to stay here in july bring back old memories cant wait ! fantastic blog thank you .
I normally stop in the Nature View on Soi Buakhao Rd, opposite soi 15, but will have to give the last one, In Town Hotel, Soi Honey, a go on my next visit in October. Looks nice and clean, plus modern. Swimming pool as well.
Thx Daz, got to agree the InTown was the pick. These vids give great insights for accommodation alternatives as I tend to be a “creature of habit” when booking a hotel. Cheers 😊
Thanks Daz, the last one was deffo the best, as you said. Interested to know if any of the hotels you review charge for "guests" or not, also be nice if you could review hotels based on cost/pool ratio.
Great Video Daz. The Soi honey hotel I believe has a good monthly rate but I think you forgot to ask.I mainly go for a month . Thanks again for your videos.
quality info~ thanks for~ yes I also plan to go after finish Songkran period~ I like low season Pattaya feeling because I'm prefer not busy circumstances
Great video as usual. Thanx for that! It would be a great addition if you could ask in your hotel reviews if there is motorbike/car parking available, I'd think.
Another Excellent Video daz I landed back Heathrow this Monday just Gone Really Missing Pattaya and Trying to Sort out Next Visit 😂 Hopefully Be Back Soon All The Best 👍
Honestly Dez I think anything below 20 is a bargain imo especially during high season and close to walking street with beach view..I’ve stayed at the Mike and Baywalk pattaya for 1-2weeks each time both WAY below what I would pay in the US for just a weekend stay..Great video no the less
Positive - the central locations. 1 and 2 are run-down love hotels, 3 and 4 are acceptable for 1 to 7 days. If you stay for 30 days - for the same price there are also modern Airbnb luxury condos with a kitchen, regular shower cubicle, washing machine, rooftop pool, gym, sauna, fast WiFi, Netflix, on the 30th floor with a sea view. Disadvantage - the room service has to be done by your Thai girlfriend.
Is it possible that you could do one on five star hotels in central Pattaya that would be cool S3 of us are going to be there in June I did stay at the arbor which was a great Hotel looking for something a little more Central thanks for your videos
The last hotel was excellent for the price. Obviously in an easily accessible to everything location. I would stay there for a short term with no reservations.
Hi Daz. My expat mate can confirm it's very quiet now in Pattaya. But.... the ST prices in many places are now only 1000 Bhat, and bar fines only 300 Bhat! Even in high season in Soi 13/1 and 13/2. Always good value in these Soi's. I think he said also some bars in New Plaza also only 1000 Bhat ST price? Good video mate, much appreciated! 👍🇬🇧
🤔 Curious if a monthly rate was cheaper ? Or could be negotiated for 3 or 6 months ? -- Or - are furnished apartments the way to go and a different deal ? Very good for the money - but too short term for my liking !
The last hotel (Intown hotel) has actually different size of rooms. Ive stayed there for the last 10 years. The most expensive room is 1200 and its huge!
@@irishjonny11 Well it depends, You Can hear Some high pitch yell from the thai ladies If there Really on the mood. But I have never felt that its noisy! Normaly i stay on floor 6 or higher! Then its No problem!
Location balcony pool kettle price. That’s what I look for in a room . Perfect on the last place .soi honey is my favourite location with some excellent places to stay . That money changer there is open to accept notes a little torn or damaged too 👍
Anything under 35 euros is a bargain for a foreigner, and you could find dozens and dozens of excellent accomodations under 30. Pattaya is a paradise if you look for a room to stay on holidays.
Intown hotel is noisy with bars and massage parlors. One way street made the traffic worse also. Old building with old furniture. No safety box in room.
Intown Holiday with the huge pool is hands down my favorite. I don’t think I would stay on a party street, prefer to stay a few blocks away. Outstanding All Around
Intown holiday hotel is verry good.I stayed there manny times but last time was 10 years ago. At that time they have safety box downstairs next to the reception . May this year I will stay in Vogeu hotel for 1 week .That is 850 bath , but that comes with breakfast.
nice Daz! I really like the last 2. I see the Soi Honey has cable. But does it have safety box? And does the 3rd next to Cheap Charles have cable and safety box? I see they both have wifi
Hi firstly hope your well great video as always happy Friday question please what is the difference between the Arcadia beach resort condo and the Arcadia continental please
The last room was terrific value considering it also had a rooftop pool. My personal favourite hotel is D-Appartments hotel near the Soi Buakhao end of New Plaza very near the turning of the 7/11 store. The rooms are far larger, brighter, cleaned immaculately daily and has an excellent rooftop pool and terrace. A starting price of 700 or 750, up to 1000 for a large balcony room. My 1st hotel I booked into was the Flipper Lodge on Soi 8 near Beach Rd which also has a rooftop bar and pool, spacious rooms, but is overpriced really at about 1600 per night or possibly more.🙄
Think the world must of been watching this Daz as everyone is fully booked on the dates I want to come ..except the 1st one of course .. there is some really cheap hotels on Soi 8 bud ( Eastiny)
Ironic as just a few days ago I booked a room at Maleez Lodge for a few days when I first arrive Pattaya. InTown looks decent too, I didn't realize that place had a rooftop pool. I ended up booking at AirBnb what I hope is a pretty decent apartment on North part of Soi Buakhao for remainder of my stay. Daily rate is right about what Maleez Lodge charges for a 'deluxe' room. Speaking of which I could not tell the difference between small room and deluxe at Maleez. I booked a deluxe but frankly the basic room seems the best deal.
I have been watching your " Pattaya Hotel tours' for few nights. (Thank you for your effort!) Maybe it is my misperception, comparing with other cities , the service attendants in Pattaya seem to get tired of tourists. I had stayed in Chiang Mai for few months, have been Bangkok for few times & Hua yin. most people I have met were nice and friendly. It seems Pattaya is different or indifferent, but i am coming anyway 😅
Great prices compared to the states, all of these rooms would be $100+ for a basic motel 6 here. They have a fridge and right in the middle of town. Not a bad deal.of course with a low budget hotel in the states, you would be greeted behind bullet proof glass and be in a very shady area of any town you were in. The concept of seeing a room before you purchase is also very foreign. Its a very different world for sure.
I used to be a regular at the Dynasty Inn on the next block for over 10 years, then the Whitehouse, then the Sandy Springs... I'll do SS for 3 days in June, then move down to the Copacabana in Jomtien...😄😄😄😄😄
I have total different subject, perhaps for a new video. I would like to know how to become hardened. What's your own experience? This sound silly but although you do give the right advices, people still fall for honey traps, me included. Just my 2 cents, cheers
That takes time and some unpleasant experiences, and being taken for a ride a few times, the problem is that most westerners believe what they are told.
Oh dear....😂 You found my secret hotel...in town on honey....I switched to this one when the Diana shut a few years ago. As you said it's right in the action...you missed it has a small side bar and a car/bike park as well....and breakfast if you want it.
Thank you so much for your wonderful video I stayed at the maleez lodge in the Deluxe room last month for 20 days it was fantastic and quiet…the lady at the receptionist lady is lovely maybe she didn’t like the camera, cheers from kangaroo 🦘 land
A great selection. It has to have a pool and that rooftop looked great, Im all in!
The last hotel is excellent! I will put this hotel in my memory bank. Excellent price and location
The 1st hotel is where you go when you're trying to avoid interpol.
Then, that's my type of place!
lol 😂
Good affordable rooms. Clean ,a/c and even with balcony. What a wonderful and inexpensive place Thailand🇹🇭. Thank you so much for the video
Please do more videos like this it’s really helpful…you’re great ❤
Your pick was the best. ❤ First hotel felt like a jail. 😮
The room in the last hotel was good. And the roof top pool is a big bonus
The last one is definitely winner winner, chicken dinner. Thanks again for a good tour.

Something for everyone. and all great locations. Especially the last one plus a Pool 👍🏻👍🏻
Liked the hidden away quietness of the second hotel for 600thb. Thanks for the info 👍
❤ Yes I like this hotel Thank you very much😊

That last is a great find, absolute bargain for that price!!!
I will be retiring in the first room. Can't wait to get in there. Thank you.

Last one was a real bargain. Have to remember that one. Cheers Daz
Good info, it would be great if you could add the monthly rate in comments.
The last hotel in soi honey was brilliant. The swimming pool sold it for me and id definitely stay at it cheers daz
that 500 baht place is fine for someone looking for budget place.
Is it possible that you could do one on five star hotels in central Pattaya that would be cool S3 of us are going to be there in June I did stay at the arbor which was a great Hotel looking for something a little more Central thanks for your videos
Did the last hotel have a safety deposit box? I would suggest it's a must have. Thanks
Keep dodging those mirrors 😂. Thanks for the info on these places.

Yes, for sure
That last one is top notch for the price.
all good for the price but the last was the one i'd pick for sure.
Hi firstly hope your well great video as always happy Friday question please what is the difference between the Arcadia beach resort condo and the Arcadia continental please
No difference, just the names, everything else is the same.

Does the intown has car park and in room safe deposit box?
Was that high or low season prices?
Second one with quiet balcony and the last one with the rooftop pool.

Intown is great, location and many other things.
Great video, Daz, does the last hotel have kettles in the rooms? Your camera work was a bit quick to see. That's a deal breaker for me. 😅
just buy one if they dont have...
The last hotel is so much better than the others. Would be interested to know if they have a monthley deal.

Hello, I'm thinking about going during a low season. Would August or September be better? When do the hotel prices change for the busy season?
Hotel prices go up 1st Oct. August is normally ok weather, but Sept is the start of the rainy season, avoid Sept.
