Great video! I recently did the same thing. Hardwired it to the fuse box. But for some reason, when I shut the car off it’s still shutting down instead of going to “sleep”. Is that how yours is too?
If playing a video from usb and you turn off the car. When you turn system back on does it resume from last position of playback?

How does the screen fair with outside light given the screen looks to reflect a lot of light in the video. I only ask because on a sunny day the sun will cause glare?

Ok here is a question. I want the screen to autorun something. For example.
I am driving down the road and my little kid wakes up. All the power cables are near my cup holder in front. I press the buttons to turn on the DVD player and Headrest unit(s).
Is there a way those screens can autorun specific inputs (in this case DVD VIA HDMI) or in other words the screens can detect a signal from hdmi input and auto select it. That way I don't have to stop the car, walk around, open the door, tap the screen input tab and select hdmi. Or worse yet trying to select that input while I am driving.
Does that paint a picture of what I want?

I have 2 questions. So I am thinking about installing this on my model y. I do know how to remove the seat head. Although, will this device push the seat head too high? Does this device have inbuilt speakers? Also can this device be plugged into a USB port in order to power it on? Cus I only have one cigarette lighter plug and I am planning on installing 2 screens for the back.
Add a y splitter and hardwire it, thats what I would do.

I assume you HDMI to other monitor and use one as main control. If you want to link to ypur indash you would need to have a split adapter and use main dash as control and other two monitors just for display

That particular one is made by a company called kaskawise 13.3 car headrest not DDauto that is a different one. TH-cam it and you will see the difference. I have this same unit installed on my truck.

Sounds like a copy right protection ..would be better off to rip the 📀 with a software like handbrake- removing the protection & play them via USB or other method..its 2021 & beyond physical disc media in a car is out dated

go to the setting then click on the factory setting a box will pops up for password put ANDRSE and then click it and then under the Android logo you will see cars logo choose your logo there

My HDMI inputs quit working. They are junk. They look nice. Bluetooth out will not connect to my BOSE system in my GMC. Audio quality from 3.5mm output is mediocre at best. I bought a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into 3.5mm output Jack, works better.
Fake review. I just return mines, the screen went blank after 30 minutes. The parts in these monitors are cheap.

dont buy these. they dont work half the time and you cant upgrade the software. i think these are paid comments. i own 2 and im stuck with them
