I never heard of a Hot Brown until I started watching your channel, now I found a recipe and have made them 3 or 4 times in the last few months. My grand kids just love them,

Had me at hotbrown..the chili looked great, too. The carrot cake looked awesome. Nice review. Might try to find that place later this month when I visit. Thanks for another great one.
Grew up eating at J.P. Kayrouz when it was on St. Matthews Avenue. My grandfather called it Kay-Roots. Owner was always in there. My parents said they saw him often at 211 Clover after he retired. I remember those chips from back in the ‘80s. Also the first place I ever had pita bread, though I don’t remember what I had it on because I always ordered the French dip.
Mortadella is okay. I had pistachio slivers but found out that it had more fat and the size is large slices. I like Head Cheese. I purchase this at an Italian market. My SIL is Italian and always tells me the same thing, EEE not III! He dated my daughter for 8 years and within those 8 years, I have not pronounced his last name until they took their wedding vows. Anyway, I still say Zan instead of Zon! 😑 UGH. I never ate chilli/ spaghetti but would love a hot burn, never seen it on any menu in the Northwest area of Pa. No Lionel Richie today? Love the sound effects! 🤣 😂 RED GOLD PRODUCTS ARE THE BEST! Try the pizza sauce and cocktail sauce. Enjoy everything about your channel and been a subscriber from the get- go. Went and checked out Kayrouz with the daughter and Granddaughters today I had the Hot Brown it was good (but to be honest Hot Brown is to rich for my tastebuds, and I keep trying it) The girls all had hamburgers and fries and they all were giving rave reviews of the House burger and the BBQ burger! I will go back and will try the Pastrami next time (unless I get a burger)!
The Hot Brown can also be found at the original (Dwarf House) owned and operated by Chic Fil-A . Hapeville Ga. Soooo good I enjoyed this video food looked delicious.
Poppy seeds are tiny and black, I'm trying to determine what type seeds they are, so I can try them in my slaw. Probably caraway or celery seed, thanks @Travis
I'll have to try that Hot Brown. I usually have them at every place that offers them. Coincidentally, my favorite Hot Brown so far was in St. Matthews, at Lou Lou Food & Drink. I also like a Hot Brown pizza which you can get at several places around town.

Been going to Kayrouz since the mid 80’s. One of their best dishes back in the day was they had some of the best fried chicken in townn
Nice one Barry and looks like a great spot! I still wont budge off the Brown at the Brown...alot of imitators but it looked good! Take care...
