This is one of my happy places. It’s the closest anyone in Louisville comes to an Italian deli, in my experience. It reminds me of a place I like to go to in Parma, OH in greater Cleveland called Gentile’s. The sandwiches are my favorites in Louisville. Remind me of Geno’s in Bowling Green.

I did that on purpose to see if anyone would notice. You won the prize of being the first one to notice. I actually filmed the magic carpet ride today and inserted it into yesterday’s video. I could have put my Erhler’s shirt back in but I wanted to see if people were watching closely.

Checked this place out yesterday and they absolutely did not disappoint. I got 2 sandwiches, the Italian and a Meatball sub. Both were so good but i destroyed that Meatball sub as soon as i got home lol. And for dinner I also got the premade baked ziti. That also got destroyed. You can tell its homemade and not the boxed crap you get in the frozen section at the grocery. And they had what I'd been looking for, Guanciale! So, i got some fresh pasta, their homemade sauce and some other ingredients, so I'll be making an authentic Italian dish tonight. They just got a regular customer for life, lol. Thanks, bro for the recommendation. Amazing place. 10 out of 10 for sure!

@@goodallscountrykitchen I mentioned Come Back Inn for their delicious tiramisu (dessert) - cold, not frozen. They also have the best Italian Wedding Soup that I have ever had. I have never seen meatballs as big as those in the soup from Lotsa Pasta, but it did look good. The usual size for meatballs in Italian wedding Soup is small rounds about the size of a marble, that gives you more meatball distribution. My 2 "must haves" from Come Back Inn are their soup & the tiramisu. The baked ziti looked really good, as did the sandwich & focaccia.
