Thanks for your kind feedback! 🙏 Sledge is for some reason a bit underrated. This synth has one knob per parameter and gives you an instant feedback how that changes your sound. Then the possibilty to have 2, 3, 4, 8, 16 or 24 voices of unison - that´s massive!
@@jangayen We got one for my daughter (and me, hahahah). It was the ability to get that instant "hands on" feedback, (plus a very good price I found used) that sold us.
@@jangayen With respect to underrated, I think probably because "serious" synth folks a put off by virtual analog synths (fair enough) and most consumers just assume they can do everything in software. To see the value you actually have to use it.
If you mean Yazoo I did just two sounds in the Synthorama oreset pack. The classic Dont go lead-brass and bass, but I did not finish Goodbye 70s…but perhaps the Situation lead sound as well…
@Jan Gayen hehe, yes, Yazoo was Yaz this side of the pond. There is some amazing subtle atmospheric stuff in Winter Kills, though I think main keys line might be acoustic piano. Brilliant stuff, Upstairs at Eric's was seminal work IMO.
@@milesparker3263 certainly, Yazoo was at the time a perfect combination of strong soul vocals to unique synth sounds. Brilliant and at the same time unexpected to hear…
prachtig fantastic!
i got my own sldge but I never guessed this synth can do these amazing sounds
Very nice work on these sounds, the Sledge is one very powerful and versatile synth!

Sorry if I missed it, but do you have any Yaz sounds you've played with?
