I've had this car for a while now, and I love it. Its comfy and I'm 6'2. Love the handling, the power is nice for 245hp. The wheels are my favorite part. Stereo is sweet. Vented front seats. Auto cranks is underrated and the ability to open and close windows with the key fab. The one touch entry is super useful. I hope this helps! Great family car.
I'm also getting a 2019 Fusion Titanium 2.0 soon but been very scared as recently I have discovered that these years of the Fusion have a coolant intrusion problem. Has yours ever had this happen to yours? Is it the same car?
I’ve had my 2020 fusion titanium with awd for about a year now. Very smooth ride, the awd kicks ass in rain & light snow, the engine is quiet, & shifts like a dream every time I take off. I haven’t had a single problem with this car knock on wood. I get that it’s only 3 years old but the way most cars are built nowadays I’d say it’s pretty impressive. I have no regrets buying this car so if you’re interested in this car I can promise you will more than likely not be disappointed. I hope this helps!

I just bought this used half price with 35,000 miles on it and 2 weeks later the engine was making a noise when putting ac on
Took it to dealer as it is still on warranty
They told me antifreeze was getting in the cylinders creating the pinging sound
3 weeks later they gave it back to me with a free brand new revised long block engine
That has different coolant channels in between cylinders
If you have a 1.5 or a 2.0 ecoboost
And your using antifreeze a little at a time and don't have any leaks or hear noises take it to dealer to get your engine checked and replaced before your warranty runs out
This is a common problem now

Same exact thing happend to my 2.0 and my friends 1.5 mine at 50k miles his at 31k miles. Both are the 2017 models.
Yes, I'm in the same boat as Nick. At 56k miles, my escape 2.0 turbo had coolant in the cylinder. A long block was installed new under warranty. I recently purchased a Fusion Hybrid with 2.0 non-turbo. I'm hoping same thing doesn't happen to that type of engine but if it does, I've got plenty of warranty to cover it.

@@al3xzzGG when I had it no. The car gave me zero problems and i treated it like trash. I ended up selling it so I can't speak to anything else. I put about 20k on it when I had it.
I think my 2015 Fusion Titanium 2.O Eco FWD w/18" Ford alloy rims will do 0-60 in 6.7 secs; with 140 lb driver+ full tank 91 octane fuel. It does have a K&N cold air intake installed bumping up the cars HP to 250; 279 lb TQ. I Actually recommend that CAI for the car, the cars turbo sounds much better and a small noticeable bump in HP.
The 2017-2019 Fusions with the 1.5/1.6/2.0 Ecoboost engines (lookup the exact months/online) are disasters; ticking time bombs. They have a major engine design flaw causing cylinder coolant intrusion. The whole entire engine has to be replaced at random mileage of 30k-100k miles VERY costly$

Does European law permit red rear turn signals?
This car is for US military in Europe, mostly European countries doesn't allow red turn signal. In Switzerland is legal with red turn signal
Why Ford call it eco when it drink fuel like jet plane !? but for americans it is fine
Compared to other cars In the states this isn’t too bad, most of us drive big trucks that get no more than 19mpg

I have the previous generation 2.0 lt ecoboost Mondeo at 240 HP..there is no way that car is that slow..i have measured 0-160 about 17 seconds, 0-200 km about 26 seconds with my car..something is wrong with that car
I believe it was with wind from front. Up to 100km/h is a decent time, but after that is going slower and slower. I have 184 HP on a similar car and it does around 8 sec to 100 km/h and 20 sec to 160 km/h.
Do you had AWD on your mondeo?
There was no wind, maybe this car has problem or thats AWD issue

I have the same car but it's only fwd, and it's much faster than this one, fuel economy is particularly the same only mine on 120kmh says 7.4l per 100km

45sek to 200km/h with 245hp? More like 130hp....my car goes 0-200 in 20sek. with 272hp (gasoline) and the consumption is way better

It's american version with garbage automatic transmission and that cause high fuel consumption and garbage performance

Lost what? Their trucks own the truck market, Mustangs are leaps ahead of any Camaro. My Fusion Sport blows away Camaros daily. Corvettes copied a Ford GT, why? Their 6.2 can hardly follow the tail lights of the GT's 3.5L engine. There are no Mopars even in this conversation. Ahh Toyotas, now we're talking progress, for grocery getters.
