The issue as a comparison between the both bars isn’t just the soundbar. The issue is the surround speaker options. If you want surrounds the Bose cannot compare to a pair of Sonos Era300’s. And at that point the comparison is over.
Listened to both at Best Buy, the Bose ultra blown the sonos out of the water. Especially pair it with the sub 700. You don't need the surround speakers for the Bose ultra. Just get the soundbar and sub and enjoy.

The Bose ultra with the 700 woofer and 700 surround sound speakers is amazing! Best I have ever heard!

Bose ultra is the best . Sonos just the over rated name
i got sonos before the bose and the arc (reg) was better in movies but the 900 and 700 bass module sounded better in music and bose had bluetooth
