    I just came into a small worship team that has a keyboard/synthesizer. Where is a good place to begin to learn the synthesizer Part like you are playing. The manual is difficult to understand in applying.

    Hello. What app are you using? I can’t find it in the App store. Also, how do you connect the app to the keyboard? I’m using Yamaha btw. Sorry, beginner to pad sounds here 🙏

    Does the app allow you to use your piano sounds? I love the interface. As an example I run Synthogy’s ivory keys but I normally run in MainStage.

      Currently no, we do plan to bring support for AUv3 on the App at a later time. You can add your own Sounds to the MainStage template of Sunday Keys.

    I have 2 questions:
    1. are you guys developing Sunday Keys App for android tablet any time?
    2. can you make a video for our PA team, when using Sunday Keys App, like should they do any EQ? compression? what to check for during sound check, those kind of thing?

    • @SundaySounds
      @SundaySounds  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, we don't plan to release the App for Android. When it comes to the house mix, a good place to start is a flat EQ and minimal compression. Communication between your Audio Engineer and Keys Player will go a long way. Tell the Audio Engineer what Sounds you will be using, and what they should be hearing, and ask for feedback throughout rehearsal; are certain Sounds too loud, too quiet, overpowering, etc. If you use the Tonic Pad Player, don't forget to listen to how that sounds in the mix along with your other Keys Sounds.

      @@SundaySounds aww.. I love my android tablet and is not ready to switch to an ipad.. thanks for answering my question on the house mix though, appreciate it.

      The Sunday Keys App will work only any class compliant keyboard. If you are looking for built-in pads, every keyboard will vary but most should at least have a few pad Sounds in addition to the Piano Sounds.

    Do you use a foot pedal while using the pads?

    • @SundaySounds
      @SundaySounds  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When playing piano and pads you can generally just lift your sustain pedal with every chord change. You’ll want to be sure you are lifting the pedal all the way up and down otherwise some notes may be carrying through and it can become muddy.
      Some pads will have a longer sound release time than others - this is how long you hear the pad sound after you lift your fingers from the keys - so if the sound starts to become muddy, that could also be why. For songs with faster moving progressions, you might choose a different pad that has a shorter release time - and you hear the sound stop quicker after lifting your fingers from the keys - so you’re able to change chords more quickly without the sounds getting muddy.
      You might also try a pad alone to hear if it sounds as expected by itself when playing through the song you are using it on, and then add another instrument like a piano afterwards, once you have a pad that works as intended.
      If you are playing faster notes with your right hand, you might consider a split of sounds where you might layer the pad in the middle to lower range of the piano for left hand to play, and just have piano, electric piano or other lead instrument for right hand to play by itself without the pad mixed in. The pad can get muddy with faster playing styles when layered across the entire piano.
