Love the car, but thats a big claim to be the most streetable. Here in Aus we have a legion of 8 (and even a few 7) second GTRs that are used on the street every day. Great stuff!!
I was going to write a similar comment. Streetable in terms of having interior, heater etc. but in my opinion streetable would mean fast response, good braking and suspension not an r33 with coilovers and high hp. Everyone has a different opinion though!
can't wait till i pick up my R32 next month. this thing has been an inspiration for what i want to build but, only shooting for 700 wheel and DD reliability
years ago i had worked on some of the gtrs that made it into the 9s an 8s, Adam being a dick online is being a dick in real life, dont be a dick ;) aint bragging its only true here in Australia we never had them banned so to see someone so quickly after ban lifted to make it into a 8 second car is impressive... i was in no way or form putting it down.. took us here a couple of years to achieve it..
+Scott N-Me not surprised yanks we're able to get them so quick into the 8s after the 25 year ban, a lot of information has been tried and tested all over all the world
blake smith So true! But also rember guys here have been swapping rb26's into everything for a while. I personally can't wait until the price of vr38's goes down. Plenty of idiots crashing R35's all around the world every day lol
Scott N-Me No prob man, you know the TH-cam comments section is littered with 12 year old 2jz Supra trolls lol you know the type. Sorry for confusing you with one of them
with this r33 gtr project goingbon forthe longest time. what hp do you think were the stock 5spd could handle before it starts blowing up? as I see you have a sequential now.
But it doesn't seem as if you're running the stock trans, almost seems like a sequential gear box minus the straight cut gears? Very impressive for a street car and congrats on the 8's😸
USA hp figures you gotta deduct 10% to be comparable with Aussie hp, they need the down hill slope to skew the times in line with their optimistic hp figures😆
Its not the most streetable with a cage, a shoot and nets..car looks clean I'd loose the shoot though its tacky. I think a big single would be better for drag anyway MotovieDVD already proved that. You need to read up on the Australians as they are the leader in Skyline drag power. But you guys are doing great. I liked the Vid
DSPORT Ahh, so it's just the truly mental nitro burners that are restricted to 1000 feet? We don't get much (if any) drag racing on the TV here in the UK so apologies for the confusion over the rules.
The working headlight can be installed in 5 mins. As for a rollcage, I don't know of any state DMV regulations saying that you can't have a rollcage in your car. Ingress/egress is not impacted much.
+Amit Singh At the time of this video it made 1,257whp. Here's a dyno video shot a couple months before where it made 1,156whp th-cam.com/video/gN73kbbi2y8/w-d-xo.html
Man Cool as shit to see Americans with 33 skylines. I've got one too, although it's GTST not GTR and 13.1 1/4 but hey, it's not built for that, building it for circuit racing and the odd drift sector. Well done on an 8 that's up there. See my channel if your interested in my car.
Yup, that was me :) was a lazy pass for my car, blew the lower ic pipe off just after the 1000ft. So I lost maybe 0.2xx tenths and 6-7mph. Was a fun race, that r33 was really nice in person, very clean car for sure.
***** ya it was pretty hot that day too, so car was a little down on power that day with the da hovering around 4500-4700ft. Had the pipe not come off it should have gone 8.8x-8.9x @ 158. Car's been running 8.70s this season consistently. Either way was fun race, and felt good to take home the win in fip class.
you need a big single also piss the nos off thats rubbish and get your coolant system well sorted because rb engine suffer for coolant system issues and you must bleed them well
this is not the worlds fastest STREET gtr. search motive dvd they done a shoot of maatouks racing "stkng" r32 gtr which runs 8.6 at 162mph on the 1/4 mile. full trim including stereo and no parachute.
The R32 you are referring to ran that time fairly recently. This video was done in 2015. Plus, give credit when its due. Running such a time in a much heavier chassis with full interior in a car that has substantially less development in the US vs Japan and Australia is a big accomplishment.
+sea doo And I bet there are some Aussies that wear that title like a boss. For some of us Americans, we prefer to be assholes. It keeps shit-for-brains weaklings away from us.
+Sam “HighRise” trebil It's not very practical to fit the tools/equipment, video gear, ez-up and the 4 people that went all into a GT-R for a ride from L.A to Vegas. Truck and trailer worked very well
That's kind of cheating because 1) I'm not doubting that that GT-R is fast no question about that but 8 seconds come on really, now I bet you will say times speak for themselves, and yes they do. But my point is that track looks like it runs downhill be interesting to see what time it makes on the flat, Still an amazing R33 though. I'm only pointing out thats what it looks like I am not in anyway hating.
vick nathoo The drag strip at Vegas is a NHRA certified track meaning that it is required to be level. The uphill portion at the end is for the racer's convince to slow the car down and avoid going onto the I-15 freeway.
In that case excellent and real good going awesome work its just deceiving from the video but it makes sense now lol. I have a challenge for that 33 if your up for it in UK which would be very cool

Watching it beat the r35 was beautiful, good runs man
The amount of work that went into the R33 is impressive such a legendary car...
can't wait till i pick up my R32 next month. this thing has been an inspiration for what i want to build but, only shooting for 700 wheel and DD reliability
Love R33's
Good to See america is getting impressive times however Australia/japan have had these for years running 8/9s in street trim,
If you didn't build it, don't brag about it...
years ago i had worked on some of the gtrs that made it into the 9s an 8s, Adam being a dick online is being a dick in real life, dont be a dick ;) aint bragging its only true here in Australia we never had them banned so to see someone so quickly after ban lifted to make it into a 8 second car is impressive... i was in no way or form putting it down.. took us here a couple of years to achieve it..

Sweet passes bro. Can't wait till you reach 7's
NIce, im looking to buy a R33 GTR in the coming weeks
Did u get it
No I bought an r32 :gtr
Cristian R32 GTR damn thats cool hahaha
"Broke more transmissions than there are in California" yep that definitely sounds like the AWD DSM life lol
Good job Mike!
I want to see videos of the DSM
No Dogbox transmission?
damn we got a 9.9 at 160 . shows what a good 60ft does
with this r33 gtr project goingbon forthe longest time. what hp do you think were the stock 5spd could handle before it starts blowing up? as I see you have a sequential now.
That R33 is one quick boat
yeah, probably even faster than your race car.
fuzzbuzz yes for sure , I'm only running 400hp atw
THE RPF1 RIMS ARE THEY 17 OR 18 HOW WIDE ARE THEY AND WHAT IS THE OFFSET
I love how his class is filled with DSMs lol
awesome job guys! 👍
who else noticed the gear box in his car, instead of shifting down and up, he kept going down and down, i think it's cool
It's a sequential gearbox, so you shift up by pulling the shifter backwards, and shift down by pushing it away from you.
Just wondering why is the drag strip downhill ?
Ps congrats on a well setup r33.
yeah. I like it. R33 of god's.
Keep it up guys
I swear to god tallons make one clean pass for every 10 they start.
nice ride
But it doesn't seem as if you're running the stock trans, almost seems like a sequential gear box minus the straight cut gears? Very impressive for a street car and congrats on the 8's😸
it is sequential. holinger 6 speed very popular amoung GTR crowd
Chase Chang oh! Nice, isn't that by HKS?
2007suprasport No, it's by Holinger.
Impressive, though not sure how I feel about that sequential gearbox.
+Supraman I know how you feel. JEALOUS ;)
Steve Durman
Well, not quite. My personal best is 8.97 at 164. Through stock 6sp with more room to grow :)
Not to take anything away from these guys.
Supraman I'd still love to have that sequential shifter for track action. That's a killer time, tho. Congrats.
Steve Durman
Thank you. For consistent times you cannot beat a sequential, auto, etc that's for sure!
Una leyenda japonesa 😍😍😍
Is that a Motorex or JK converted car?
Mr. Mix Yes this is one of the first Motorex cars
Always thought of the R33 as the ugly duckling when it comes to Skylines but this looks mean as hell!
James Smith what there not ugly
James Smith.
James Smith R33s are badass in there own right with aero and kits
It got over shined by the R34 for many reasons and the R32 for history
drag strips downhill!!!
USA hp figures you gotta deduct 10% to be comparable with Aussie hp, they need the down hill slope to skew the times in line with their optimistic hp figures😆
Wheels specs?
What turbo set up is the car running
vick nathoo Twin APEXi IHI RX6B TCW77L-P18
very nice slim clean looking
Its not the most streetable with a cage, a shoot and nets..car looks clean I'd loose the shoot though its tacky. I think a big single would be better for drag anyway MotovieDVD already proved that. You need to read up on the Australians as they are the leader in Skyline drag power. But you guys are doing great. I liked the Vid
what wheels are those?
NightOwl16 RPF1
@@parkhyeon3255 RPF1 ARE THEY 17 OR 18 RIMS. HOW WIDE AND OFFSET NEED SOME FOR MY 655 HP R33 GTR
can it do 8's on streets like the endless?
Chase Chang It is on street tires, the Nitto NT05R
+DSPORT we have a r32 gtr here in Australia's doing 7s street trim
Sel Gules can i have the link to the video?
Was it over 1000 feet or a full quarter?
Stephen Gray The track is a quarter mile
DSPORT Ahh, so it's just the truly mental nitro burners that are restricted to 1000 feet? We don't get much (if any) drag racing on the TV here in the UK so apologies for the confusion over the rules.
This guy obviously hasn't seen videos of Australian GTR's. We have more streetable 7 second GTR's, street registered with full street trim.
What year is it?
1996.
Streetable my ass one headlight' rollcage'
The working headlight can be installed in 5 mins. As for a rollcage, I don't know of any state DMV regulations saying that you can't have a rollcage in your car. Ingress/egress is not impacted much.
Patrick Rayhana the headlights out so he can let more air into the turbo mate, they don't take it out for no reason
how much HP?
+Amit Singh At the time of this video it made 1,257whp. Here's a dyno video shot a couple months before where it made 1,156whp th-cam.com/video/gN73kbbi2y8/w-d-xo.html
+DSPORT nice car man , crazy horsepower. love the rb's.
come to Australia fastest r33 7.22 196mph . a second faster then the nismo kings in Japan
+tangles01 nice car dude
+Han Huzaini Hey man thanks. Sub up for plently of chances to see it.
thats one fast boat
Was that loss to Jake Montgomery?
Yup, that was me :) was a lazy pass for my car, blew the lower ic pipe off just after the 1000ft. So I lost maybe 0.2xx tenths and 6-7mph. Was a fun race, that r33 was really nice in person, very clean car for sure.
ninesecdsm I was hesitant if it was you after seeing the 9.06. Still looking good

Yeah Australia is king of street Gtr's but got to give these guys some credit.car is quick either way
jun2 is a australian r32 gtr street car full interior.. ran a 7.8
Maatouks king32 ran 7.7 today.
australia has 10x better and more streetable skylines
steetable? you have no headlight
Only with a GTR LOL
Streetable car yet you put it on a trailer ???
+Sam “HighRise” trebil It's not very practical to fit the tools/equipment, video gear, ez-up and the 4 people that went all into a GT-R for a ride from L.A to Vegas. Truck and trailer worked very well
Fair enough ;)
Let's go Brandon fjb USA USA USA
That's kind of cheating because 1) I'm not doubting that that GT-R is fast no question about that but 8 seconds come on really, now I bet you will say times speak for themselves, and yes they do. LOL its nowhere near the fastest or reliable street gtr we got 678 second gtrs all around australia
