They used to ballast the rear of the General Lee with bags of concrete so it would jump evenly.

loving your content guys.. picked you up from being a long time whistlin fan.. I agree that it sucks the speed wasn't very good. please please reinforce the ramps and I'll keep watching for more jumps.. also being an older wall and a mason myself, the ramps should be attached to asphalt with rebar or something that you can drive down into it... like when big tents are setup in a parking lot at a store.. just worried that if it pushes on the wall to much or something hangs up.. it will take those top blocks off the wall easier than you'd think.. but loving the content, and can't wait to see the trk change.. keep going, and I'll keep watching.. for sure got a thumbs from me guys...

Get a 2:1 pulley system. Pull it towards the ramps as the dually drives opposite way up the drive.

Rig up some pulleys and pull the cars off, that way you could drive the truck sideways and pull the car faster if you use a snatch block. You’d probably want to trigger some type of disconnect before it launches though so it doesn’t pull it down.
Or do one in reverse just to see how that reacts.

An idea to relaunch it. Put a pulling on the tree in the path and cable your obs to the sonic an tow it off the jump.
Should have added a little rear wing lol. A runway is what that car really needed.

Check the rollover sensor. Will cut power to fuel pump and cause a no start. That little sonic will still run! SEND IT AGAIN!!
It's definitely a jumped timing belt.
Ecotecs are experts at jumping time and destroying themselves. Even with 25k miles occasionally.
Reset the inertia fuel switch. Either In the pass side kick panel or in the trunk. They kick the fuel off when rolled. I'll bet that car will run

Sorry if I missed you explaining, but what was the plan if it landed on all 4 wheels and kept on going? OR wheels turned and started going in circles at full send? That would of been hilarious.
The plan was film whatever happened next haha. We have a pretty big area below where we did this so there was no real danger of hitting anything that mattered.

Fix the timing take a bungee cord the old ones self tap it across the battery and launch it off the other side move the cars out the way lol

Okay I watched the neutral drop guys put many handfuls of bolts and glass into that engine and busted the valve cover with an axe and it still ran.
