    I've always wondered what the difference between a glacier and pearls and jade pothos is, and I could never find an answer. Thank you for pointing it out! It was super helpful

      Hi kyra! You’re welcome! I actually explained it better in the rare pothos video of you’re interested, coz my description here is not entirely accurate. But the gist is pearls and Jade, glacier, and njoy are three different forms of pothos. Their differences are minimal but are recognized as their own varieties.

    Hi, finished the ebook and caught up on the videos...can you do a more in depth version of non water prop methods (direct soil, moss/perlite) as well as plant ailments that arent under/overwatering, specifically for pothos on both? Example, my njoy is struggling a bit, getting brown spots on only white portions of the leaf and only on certain vines, so trying to determine if its a light issue, compacted roots, too cold, not enough ventilation , or maybe even certain roots not getting water, etc.

    • @MyWastelessLife
      @MyWastelessLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for getting the ebook! I’m glad you liked it. And yes, I am doing lots more propagation and troubleshooting videos next year, those videos are definitely coming. For your N’joy, send me pics on IG and I can help a bit more, but variegated pothos like njoy are more susceptible to selective root rot due to overwatering, but the browning can also be a pest issue or lighting issue. Compact roots are rarely an issue for pothos coz they actually like to be a little bit root bound, but it doesn’t hurt or aerate your soil once in a while.

    Hi Marianne! Thank you for making this video- I've found it super informative. With regards to Hawaiian pothos, it is simply a mutation also known as a 'sport' which can be on part of your golden pothos? I ask, because a section of my golden, has an area where the stem looks almost yellow and is much more variegated. So, would you say this section of the Golden pothos is considered a 'Hawaiian' pothos?
    Thanks :)

    Philodendron are literally never called pothos by the plant community. I wouldn’t put them in a pothos video, I find it misleading.

    • @MyWastelessLife
      @MyWastelessLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The plant community is large, and yeah not all do, but the types of philodendron I mentioned in this video are often lumped with or mistaken for pothos, which is why I made the clear distinction which are epipremnum, scindapsus and philodendron.

    • @tintintin6734
      @tintintin6734 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      True.
      And even the scindapsus are not pothos.
