I've had pain in my back only when I stand and really feel it when I arch my back. In morning is the WORST it's so stiff and painful then goes away in less then 10min and don't even have to move much. I watched so many damn videos and did so many effing stretches! Finally did the superman/cobra pose which helped SOOOOOOO much! Chin tucks help alot also! Bad bra & terrible posture when sitting at home (mainly on my bed hunched over with rounded shoulders) are huge factors! Wish I knew what causes the pain when I'm sleeping. I just lay on my back. Mattress isn't to soft or hard and no sagging.
Reminds me of "The Princess and the Pea" story. Maybe you're royalty? (Just kidding). Anyway, I too sleep on back and have pain. Swimming and a good Massage Therapist are helping.
Great video...nice chapter outly.. Just a suggestion. Maybe slow the video down a bit, as you are probably very familiar with the movements....but for people that has maybe not excercised for years and are new to all of this, the pace might be a bit fast.....?

Thank you so much for this! but please, can you explain in maximum detail, what "allow the stretch to come from your midsection"means?
She means try not to rotate your hips, so basically rotate from your abs up while keeping your hips pointing straight down.
Awesome!!!
I got spinal erector tightness from doing too much rack pulls :(

I would say there is problem with hips, more than upper body. ;)
