Backyard overgrown clean up! Help homeowner w/backyard. Their mower broke and yard got super tall!!

- We were at another location working and noticed the backyard of this house was way overgrown. So I went over and asked if they needed help getting the yard under control. They were experiencing some mower issues and back pain that led to the yard getting out of control. So we offered to clean it up for free!!! They were super blown away by our generosity and help. After we were done he really couldn’t believe how awesome it looked and told me he was going to invite some family over for a cookout. Totally awesome!!
You need one of those little hand held chain saws for limb cutting! Fantastic job and I am sure that the homeowner was extremely grateful for you working so hard in the pouring rain.

One thing I've found making jobs like this with super tall grass easier is a walk behind string trimmer. Using it first helps avoid hitting anything with your mower hidden and saves hand trimming for detail work. The Darwin grip and Echo speed feed 500 Head with a carriage bolt mod using 130 gauge Lonoize trim line is another few things I highly recommend checking that trim line is near bomb proof

So glad you chose this yard. Friendly tip…joint marketing with a couple of lawn mower repair services in the area. Often times people do not know who to call for lawn mower, small engine repairs, tree services, etc. Keep their business cards with yours.. So glad you cut bushes instead of just shaving. Amazing job on this property!

As overgrown as this yard was, you needed a chainsaw or pole-saw attachment for your string trimmer. It would have made quick work of it. Fighting the rain was the pits. You did a good job despite the weather. You can do my yard anytime but I am in Colorado LOL. Thank you for reaching out and helping those that can't do stuff for themselves!

Always carry 2 good leaf rakes!
When picking up clippings and putting them on your tarps, use the leaf rakes like giant hands! U'm 51, been using them for over 40 years. I will never go back to hand pick up.
Also, when you are going to tarp your goods, before you start, place that tarp right up against the base of any hedge or bush, I will make the majority of your initial pick up quicker.

Glad you're wearing long sleeves doing this job. Thought there was no threat of poison plants in my yard. Didn't know a southern delight, crepe myrtle is also a skin irritant. I broke out in thousands of bumps on both arms when I walked through cm I cut hedge height the previous year. Following medical attention and 3mos later, the scaring is still visible. The itching was mind blowing.
