I stayed there many times in the 1980s and 90s when it was the Ramada Express, I enjoyed riding the train around property. Even stayed in room 777 one weekend.
srry on yer tummy.. EXCELLENT review. yes LUVVVV THE IN N OUT and VENDING MACHINE FOOOD....yes they need a movie theatre w kewl seats. LUV CAESARS.. maybe they can buy tge colorado belle and do a TUBE BRIDGE.. yes ..u got to be on the water! Thankyou. Good reviews
Tropicana in Laughlin isn't bad. There used to be a Sam's Town in Laughlin. Not as nice as the Pioneer. Who wants a bottle opener in the bathroom? Red wine should be served room temperature. My late wife liked the Colorado Belle. It was a Circus Circus hotel. Next to the Colorado Belle is the Pioneer Club. Bagels. I like some buffetts. Could spend hours in them. Any table games?
The Tropicana hotel as they call it used to be the Ramada when my family went to the river between 1995 or 1996 or so. My son was 5 or 6 then. I can't figure out what the river lodge used to be, I doubt it's a new build. But maybe it is.
The Tropicana Laughlin is a dive, a shadow of its former self. It was built in the 90's so it doesn't remind me of a 70's or 80's property? The reason that shut down the Colorado Belle for life (Roaches, Mold.Mildew, Bed Bugs, and Filth) is also present at the Trop. There used to be a killer Italian restaurant, all the food options suck aside from that bakery/ coffee place, and one of the best IN-N-OUT's in the chain next door, and a Subway too, Your $140 room used to be $11, $49 on weekends with no resort fee. They took away the Buffet, they took away almost all tables, they took away the fun
We were just in laughlin in june we stayed at harrah there was illegals sleeping on the floor in the back of the casino we then got sick from norovirus we were in the hospital 4 days most disgusting place to stay in our entire life they had to take us to the hospital by ambulance when we're were released we did not have our same room the bathroom ceiling burst with water from the pipes it was an entire nightmare the er dr said norovirus is everywhere we will never go back
Sorry as a guy who has lived there a long time. I am not believing that for a second, Metro does NOT play those games in Laughlin, there is almost no crime because of that. Not too mention all casinos have great security and image is everything. Just being Captain Obvious...
@@caddothegreat Airborne is hard to stop it is NOT visual. Apples and Oranges. I am not a Harrahs guy regardless just honest is all. I spend what little time I do in any casino at the Golden Nugget. Just my personal preference .
Next up: A full guide to Don Laughlin’s Riverside Casino Resort. See you there!

Love places like Laughlin and Reno...way better vibe and prices then Vegas that has gotten so pricey and busy lately...
Great video. Was wondering where all the people were then remembered its a casino which means they come out at night.
Capriotti's in the Edgewater has a great Cheese Steak and other sandwiches as well... Just saying next to the Sports book.

wow....that room has the smallest TV ,was in a motel 6 recently that had a 55 inch TV......rooms look very outdated there but clean wich is good...
to far from the river walk. to far from the rest of the casinos. does it even have the train ride anymore?
I’d need a comped night, $50 food comp and $100 free play to consider Laughlin lol
the river is the big attraction. people big their boats or rent jet skis.
@@richardelliott8352 ya jet ski would be fun but why drive all the way out there when there’s probably somewhere else much closer

What do you mean when you say you're a tangerine?
It’s a nickname…someone was making fun of me and called me a Tangerine when I gained a bunch of weight so I just took it and ran with it 😂
