For maximum performance during "class" 😅

'What are you waiting for?' Microcentre to open a branch in the UK!
Still waiting for it to open in Ireland🤡🤡🤡

Damn if there was a micro center in Wrexham I could spend hours upon hours without getting board in there
back to school pc sounds right no you would be getting of your pc and put it in a backpack to show it can go to school and learn
i hope PH has Micro Center as well.
And this Jared became one of Austin’s workers
What better thing to do, than to go to micro centre only to realise that you came an hour late
you should put the total price of the build in every video it would be soooo cool
These budget pcs are still better than mine
Can you do a BIOS update tutorial?
What screwdriver do you use?
Man I really wish there was a micro center in my country... I could spend hours in there looking at all the various PC parts.
@AmitieNarrations nice
Maybe one day when I go to the US I'll visit one
@AmitieNarrations same
And never buy them because you're broke af
Yeah they don't have any in india either :(
Ah yes, it’s the “Yes mom, it’s for school” pc
Yes, for *HOMEWORK*
Yeah the graphics card helps render school assignments really fast, really helps to complete homework on time😁
I totally need this to run Google Meet and Google Classroom.
I laugh, but I genuinely have a higher-spec PC for class because I'm doing 3D modelling and game design.
you really just need good ram and a good cpu for online school and idk what else

1:54 for those budget cautious, just get a 970 evo plus, it performs the same only difference is that it doesn't have a gen4 controller, but the rated speed on both are the same
EDIT: actually that is not true, but if you find them at about the same price go for the 970 evo +, here they are about 15€ more expensive than the 980 for 500gb one, but o found mine at the same price and i think it is tad faster than the 980 and should last a bit more
I believe he used the standard 980 (non-Pro), which is Gen3 and a good bit cheaper than a 970 EVO Plus
LouisIsGo it’s not that much more expensive ($30-$40) so I’d choose the 970 every day for the DRAM cache, especially if you’re using it as your boot drive. It will last longer and be faster overall.
@@Virginiafox21 Sure, but my response was to OP's claim that the 970 EVO Plus would be the better choice for budget conscious users.
Besides that, "not that much more expensive" is pretty relative... I live in Canada, and a quick look on Amazon shows me a 1TB 980 for $150 and a 970 EVO Plus for $215. That's a 43% price increase for DRAM and marginally-higher r/w speeds that, let's face it, the vast majority of users will never appreciate. My point is, the price-per-performance of the 980 is much higher, making it the obvious choice if you're being even the least bit budget conscious with your build.
@@LouisIsGo You know what ? I didn't account the ones above 500gb (the one i have) those are similar in price (15€ diference) but the ones above i didn't expect the diference beeing so steep
And that was probably the side efect of grabbing one at a heavilly discounted price
LouisIsGo LouisIsGo Christ. I was looking at amazon (US) for my prices too, the 500gig is $30 more ($59 to $89) and the 1tb was $40 more ($109 to $149). Everyone’s build is different, if getting the marginally better ssd causes you not to be able to get more ram, of course I’d go for the ram. But even budget builds sometimes have $50-100 worth of wiggle room. But we’re leagues different in price range here, for your market I’d go with the 980 every time.

A tip for anyone wanting to build in the H210i: Although the case technically supports ATX PSUs like the one in this build, you're better off using a smaller SFX one to allow for better GPU cooling (as a full-sized power supply will cover what little ventilation exists in the PSU shroud). It's not much, but given how choked a GPU can get in this case, any bit helps
guarantee you if i was to buy the exact same shit from every video it would not work for me in real life. Every fucking part i buy some how has an issue im going to kill my self
Congrats to the 5 million subs Austin Evans been watching you in the last 2 years keep up with the good videos man!
After many years of this channel and many others, your content is always refreshing and fun. 10/10
I do really think students will be benefited from having the numpad.

Gaming in the hall is for those who got the ball
Hey Austin I love the vids. Could you make a video on the best PC build for 3d work. ie(Modeling, sculpting, VFX, Animation, Etc) Would love to see it
Honestly I love building smalls PCs because it actually gives u a challenge, and because u can't just cram cable in, u actually have somewhat cable manage so u can fit everything
Me too man
I genuinely enjoyed Austin walking around Micro Center by himself
Austin and I's love for Micro Center is pure. That place is awesome.
The EVGA 3060Ti 2 fan GPU fits perfectly in this case. Plenty of ventilation room and can still do a push/pull front 280mm radiator if you wanted. This GPU is much shorter then a 1070 FE
when austin makes a friend: *hey man where do u live* austin: *micro center*

If you’re gonna throw money for a “budget back to school” build, I would definitely try and go for the new Ryzen APU’s tbh 😵💫
agreed with how bad gpu pricing is the 5600g could get someone into the lighter games at a much lower cost, which would much more align to what most students would have
U guys are one of the only ones in this comment section who have a brain

4:56 , Austin im pretty sure no one "wants" to go down to ryzen 3 "if you like"
How can I be even more amazed every episode
Austin Evans is cool, I literally learnt everything i know about PC's from him.
NZXT PSUs are designed to standards from 2000s, it assumes you will have the PSU on the top, you will have issues with cable management, and also have very awful heat-shrunk cables, not recommended.
This is such a bad case. It's not small enough to be truly ITX but at the same time it's too big to have such limited GPU compatibility and bad thermals. The NR200(P) is way smaller, also fits big CPU coolers (air and liquid), fat GPUs and also has way better thermals.
Man we really need a MicroCenter in Vegas. We even have a Fry's Electronics building that just finished getting emptied lol
lol
getting a GPU in 2021... this satirical content is amazing
Everything seemed so affordable until he pulled out the 3060 ti lmao
my jaw nearly hit the floor when i walked into B&H yesterday and they had a gpu for me just chilling there. the exact one i wanted (Radeon pro W6800), no looking around, no compromising. I feel blessed
