Hold on a second, I remember the 3090 being a new thing like it was yesterday. What did I miss? Are we releasing graphics cards like they're smartphones now?
It is funny to watch how gaming and computers are improving to the point where we complain that the performance is so high that we ask "what are we doing?" 😂
About the last 5 years when nvidia came with the 10 series the pc gaming community seemed to have exploded i remember I was only guy in my friend group with a custom pc now everybody either has or wants one
I just checked and the pump is definitely next to the copper plate, which means it might recycle air. I hope you guys see this and move the AIO to the top, GPU-AIO to the front, or else potentially kill your 4090.
I came into the comments to ask about this. Maybe their next video will be "How we killed our MSI RTX 4090 SUPRIM LIQUID Hybrid Cooling 24GB Graphics Card"
Great to see the micro center stuff and this amazing liquid suprim x 4090. However I will keep my rtx 3090 suprim x and ryzen 5950x until we have at least a new cpus of am5 or whatever new socket it could be, as well as a pci-e 5.0 gpus and nvme2. Besides, we can't still get a stable 60 fps in psyco ray tracing setting on cyberpunk 🤭
The GPU radiator exhaust is the PSU shroud so the only exit for that hot 4090 air is the PSU? I give it 3 months. Not to mention that the pump for that 4090 is on the GPU and the radiator is way below it. All the bubbles that will build in the loop will now rise up to the pump, reducing the efficiency of the cooling. This was a terrible case choice, that GPU radiator needs to be side mounted on a different case as an exhaust with the tubes running to the bottom of the radiator.
Would you like a little PC CASE to go along with your RTX4090 sir? I think pretty soon Nvidia will just build a Huge Video Card large enough to fit all the rest of the PC components inside.
Well when the 1080 Ti dropped in 2017 it was the biggest generational leap in performance of the decade. The ultimate gaming experience is/was 1440p 144hz high/ultra. With new gpus like this it makes 4k 144hz high ultra a possibility.
Honestly, the thought of something that powerful and knowing It's Never Going To Make A Program Crash or to corrupt your art work...seriously would be so awesome!
This makes me miss when like the graphics went from n64 to GameCube/Xbox. That jump was just insane. And PC was improving even faster. It was so exciting with each new console it felt like a true new generation. I wonder if I’ll experience a true graphic leap like that again.
That build looks beautiful, however, I prefer the air cooled GPU, although its hotter than the water-cooled, and this comes ready so no work to be done or expertise needed, however, I am worried about trouble-shooting and possible leakage of water (e.g. during moving the case), tbh, water and a computer always sounds a bad combination. Thanks for the good video, though! Best regards!
For CPU I would say Mount on top, for GPU mount Vertical, i hardly ever hear my pump and when I notice it it’s very subtle, because it’s on the roof, the GPU I’d imagine will guaranteed be 3 fan
Us mortals absolutely need this power!!! I have a MSI Gaming Trio 4090 and pairing it with an i9 13900K w/24 cores. I can't wait to get the rest of my components and build my rig. Loved this video and can't wait to benchmark and run render tests like you guys did!
Threadripper isn't as good for gaming because the core clocks are lower, and the architecture is kinda dead now as a consumer part. Technically there's Zen3 chips in the OEM "Threadripper Pro" desktops, but it's yet another new socket and it's not purchasable by end users anyway.
I love my 7950x and 4090 build. It literally chews through every game. If I have the option for dlss 3.0 quality setting of course, I run it. But max settings everything and I think I'm alittle future proofed for gaming. All said and done she landed around $5600
Hey quick question, so I’m trying to build the exact copy of Austin’s pc in this video, everything that he shows is it in the description 😅, I’m a little new to pc building
It is getting pretty nuts to think that a CPU and GPU need > 700 Watts. Why have the power bills gone up by 30% since Austin got his gaming rig? Meanwhile Austin playing Modern Warfare 2 at highest settings in shorts and tanktop because the room is boiling.... Air Conditioning came on in the house.... More power, moooooooorrrrrre Power.
At this point more gpu power is hardly necessary. And 8k just feels excessive until gpus can easily power that, not as if you’re getting much better picture quality once you get to that point. Kind of like buying the best headphones costing several times others but sounding almost the same, just ever so slightly better, maybe 5-10% at most. More money than sense at this point. I shouldn’t say anything though. I just received my macbook pro m3 max 16 core cpu 40 core gpu 16” 64GB laptop for… around 6000€ with applecare+. Also got a 1800€ oled tv for that and a dualsense controller along with a 737 24k powerbank etc. Somehow that makes such a gpu look more reasonable. A full pre-built system with similar specs should be a bit cheaper. Probably around 4500-5500 depending on build quality/other parts. But I use my laptop 10+ hours almost every day for everything. It’s worth every single bit of that money and I can get back around 33-40% easily by selling it secondhand to fund a new laptop in 2.8 years (before applecare+ runs out)
I watched the cooler video on gamer nexus and they really stressed the fact that you want the cooler pump not at the highest point in the system. Wouldn't you want to maybe put the GPU radiator vertically in the front for longevity?
Glad I'm not the only one that noticed. It's fine if you have to tubes on top so long as the pump is lower. But this orientation is asking for air to get stuck in the pump and drastically shorten the life span.
AUSTIN JUST PULLED A VERGE .... the Pump on the 4090 is higher than the radiator , this will mean when there is a bubble it can get stuck in the pump and damaging it ..
I would love to have such a powerful PC like that but after this year it will never happen so for now I am happy with what I've got even if its built mostly from parts people didn't want or were going to throw away and a few parts as presents.
i'm on a 4790k and a 1070. think it's finally time for an upgrade. got a 7900X and a 4090 with a samsung odyssey crg9. making a big upgrade this go around
I do graphic design & render 3D up to 6K to downsample for 1440p and 4K. So the 4090 might be my low-end for how fast I want to work and send out proofs for approval.
Really disappointed with there being no nvlink. I wanted atleast dual/quad 40XX gpu system for rendering. So now I might wait for the next professional cards to release.
now the real question is can you record at 4k with a rtx 3060 12gb/ryzen 5 5600/32gb of corsair vengeance rgb pro 3200/mobo ASUS TUF Gaming B550-PLUS/psu corsair cx 750m/2tb barracuda hdd/with a Thermalright Assassin King 120 SE White ARGB cpu cooler/ all in a Cooler Master Master Case H500 ARGB tower well can you austin.

Hold on a second, I remember the 3090 being a new thing like it was yesterday. What did I miss? Are we releasing graphics cards like they're smartphones now?
Its been 2 years. Phones come out every year. GPU’s used to actually release every year or less the 2 year cadence only been around since ~2016
The 4090 has actually 4x better performance than the 3090ti so it's not like they're just randomly releasing gpus for branding reasons
Not like smart phones because the next generation is actually different
BruH. It's been 2 years; you're not funny
It’s been 2 years bud
It is funny to watch how gaming and computers are improving to the point where we complain that the performance is so high that we ask "what are we doing?" 😂

These people honestly are the reason Nvidia gets away with it every time.

Get your money up not ur funny up
the thing is, ai generation is nvidia only....being a 3d artist i buy only on nvidia when you see how poor amd is in most rendering tasks.....
You mean the majority of Gaming Community lol
Mine is the exact same but I used an AMD 7900x. I love the power.
Is it good I wanna upgrade to either that or the 3090 when I start my new case
@@taethedrummer3603 is what good? the 4090? its amazing! The AMD 7900 is ok.. Im going to get the 3dx version when it comes out.
Would love to see a 10 year update on this build. 🥰

I'm screaming in front of the screen, that's the wrong way to mount AIO.
Some one whom actually does not know anything for sure. Should just consider quit building for sure.
I'm pretty sure if I had that GPU, It will probably burn me just by turning on the computer 💀

Austin and Company , that video was great.
Austin: you don't need that much performance.
People: yeah we're getting that one.
Great!, You have a room heater for winter ❄️🥶

Australia needs a micro center .
I think it will take 3 or more years for next gen gpu, I wonder how small NM can get in silicon

The price of a new RTX 4090 on Amazon cost more than my complete Del XPS 13 Plus (9320) I7 32gb memory & 1TB SSD
It can crush “almost” everything. I’ll wait for a better card at a better price in the far-far future. In about 10 years because I just built my pc 😅
yeah the 4090 is going to be the next decade long card like the 1080 ti has been.
why?
Gotta love that LA crowd! I spent many nights in line for a movie premier in that area!
