- EUC / MONOWHEEL are self balancing device like a one wheel , except faster with a center balance that rides facing forward. Not sideways - like a snowboard or skateboard.
Patton is an EUC developed by Leaperkim-

Patton, a leopard-cow that makes you Superman .
I love the wheel.
I hated it at first. And some may never acclimate.
But it’s a worthy contender for wheel of the year.
Cheers
Enjoy the footage

Like and subscribe if you dig it.

ps
Big thanks to Bobby Wasabi for helping me through what felt like a pretty dark period of self reflection and disappointment. You’re a ten outta ten bro, and I just saw the rankings for the time trials. You’re a beast brother … a beast.
Rob Fail your consistency even abroad is an inspiration to put something together.
Chase Visa , you’re a gem young man. A polite young hooligan- proper raised. Have fun at amped buddy.
And to everyone who supports my efforts.
I’m going to keep trying my best.

If you don’t…
Imma keep trying my best.
Cheers.
Shout out to inmotion , lazy rollers and naps happen for the love and sponsorship help 💪🏾 - กีฬา
😋 I got the Veteran Patton as my first wheel and I gotta say that while I have no regrets and I love it. It's definitely not a beginner's class wheel and it's going to take you a lot longer to get the hang of it than if you'd gone with something smaller. But it's not impossible and it's still super fun
Its a great wheel for sure- happy youre loving it!!!!
I am 55 years old and the Patton is my first wheel too. I dig it I am over 2000mi, or 3000km, in 100 days as an EUC rider. The light switch is my only Patton gripe, sometimes I have to press it 3 or 4 times before the light lights up.
Woooo!! Awesome friggen video. 180 to backwards down stair set is ridiculous!!!
awe dude thanks so much , I am just trying to keep it interesting , i have agood time with it - how you beeen bro?
@@johnnygovroom definitely entertaining! All is good here. Thanks for asking. I hope things are well down south! Gonna hit you up soon for some Master suspension advice😊
Wheely good review
Thank you brother
Ok any Beginners, don’t listen to anything negative anyone has to say about any wheel, they are only talking from their prospective. This is a fantastic wheel and can be a great beginner wheel, if you don’t know how to ride, you won’t know any different, and that’s the best way to keep it, learn from your own experience. People have learned on EX 30’s, monster pro ect, just get what you can and have fun learning. I have a V8, V11, T4, S22 and Patton, I recon a Patton is a great beginner wheel, it’s solid, good quality will last you for a very long time.
my friend the only reason I can do all the thigs I can and then some is because I started on a v8 , and learned backwards, stairs, jumps and everything on a manageable scale... it was only 30 pounds... learning backwards on intermediate wheels is beyond challenging.
Just because you can go in a straight line doesnt mean you know "how to ride"
Get gud brother, then come back to me
@@johnnygovroom good for you mate, that’s what worked for you and now your an absolute legend, beyond belief, super human.
I just pointed out to others, they can learn on any wheel they can get their hands on, and not to be limited by what others believe is possible or that there is one best way to learn. I read about a bloke who learned to ride seated then transitioned to standing riding, that’s what worked for him, who knows maybe that’s the way more people will learn in future.
Hey brother, I have personally gotten quite a few people into the hobby, people tend to give up learning on a exn, or v12, they manage the 14d reallly well, and an airwheel as the first wheels they use. Imagine how much you can learn and do- I aint nothing special, Im simply saying that you may have a ceiling on the things you can accomplish easily beyond going in a straight line. If you only have a budget for only one thing - I would say make that one thing the Patton. But this isnt a learning wheel.... itll get you rolling. Sorry to come off like a dick@@scottmorris7320
@@johnnygovroom mate I don’t disagree with you at all, and I’m sure we both want more people to have fun learning this activity. I just don’t like people telling others they can’t learn on this or that wheel, the V8 or 14D are great wheels to learn on, with the right approach you can learn on any wheel. I have video of a 5 year old riding my old V12 around a park, he didn’t have people tell him he can’t do it, he received encouragement and built a favourable belief system. In my opinion breaking beliefs is the hardest part to learning this sport, we don’t need any reason to build limiting beliefs before we get started, imo. You have fun man, and keep encouraging people, your doing well. Best regards Scott.
#fatpigcow lmao I love this video.... waiting on my patton shipment patiently
Thanks so much!!! I really had a huge change of heart about the wheel, once I found my groove, I fell in love- I know you'll love yours as well-
Great video!!
Thanks so much my friend, youre an inspiration with it
nice with it on the steps
THANK you!!! Lots of fallin lol
I love my Patton, it is my first EUC. I am 55 years old and I have gone over 2000mi, 3000km in my first 100 days as a rider.
Dude thats awesome- its a fun wheel i think.
What do you ride mainly with it? Like trails or street?
@@johnnygovroom I ride 70% street and 30% trail down here in Texas, but when I get back to Wyoming it will be trail dominate.
God I LOVE how the back piece of the seat just folds up to reveal the trolly handle. Just ordered my Patton and that seat looks like a MUST.
Its a big must !!!!
I love it n it protects the wheel tooo!!!!
Is that seat ftom ewheels
Is this the 66lb version
No its a seat i got from the Ali express, I ride the 62 lb at around 90kg , I find it quite comfy and amazing for my use case @@fqqures1019
I got mine with the street tire , I love this wheel . I took the toe clip off and put my Nylonove pads on , I have seen bigger toe clips you can buy , but I like my pads better.
Thanks for stopping by, where can o find the toe clips?
A FAT PIG COW lol you go Johnny
lol, hahaha, thanks Lee, she sure makes me mooooo've.
cheres bro
Excellent rider dude, i have the 16x and hoping to upgrade
How do you like the 16x?
it's good, but I'm 57 years old, and my knees hurt so i think i need suspension @@johnnygovroom
Verry nice one
thanks so much, i really tried to learn and level up..still tryin, thanks for your time friend.
your a monster, how did you get so good at going over ledges backwards
thanks brother , honestly just little bumps at a time and it eventually feels like nothing
Great vid, where did you get the shock covers from?
Ali express-
Thanks much bro!
where'd you get the seat & top panels?
ali express
1:20 that shit was intense when it happened I thought you could make it
the brakes were to good, started skidding sideways fast
@@johnnygovroom you are on which mode? hard/med/soft?
@@KhairulKlang hard in streets , soft on trails and jumps
@@johnnygovroom shouldn't it be the opposite?
the hard gives headroom at speed, and the soft for trails makes the torque less aggro on your legs ,
@@KhairulKlang
could you share what suspension settings you had in the video? please and thanks :)
looked like max pre-load?
Hey , Max preload and rebound ! 😎
Hey Johnny, after running into you guys and looking into to it more, I did get a V12. I guess I'm just still in the "this feels absolutely impossible phase". I was expecting it to be hard but I feel like I am also trying hard and it is still chewing me up and spitting me out. The constant falling off is so exhausting and the insides of my knee's get so bruised up from the euc crashing into them. I will keep trying, but so far I feel a lot more like a 3 legged ass than a Superman... 🥵Well, because of TH-cam I know it should be very possible. Hopefully something will click in my brain or my body will adapt or something. I was hoping because I'm pretty comfortable on my e-scooter that even if I was bad at euc I would not be awful at it. I think though that I'm objectively awful at it. Maybe it will be like pull-ups where I could not even hang on the bar at first, it's so chaotic on the euc though that I just can't tell if I am making any progress at all. I thought after a few sessions on it I could at least go forward a little bit. Anyway, I feel like I would really like riding it. To watch and listen to you it certainly seems amazing. Probably the harsh reality is that I should have started with a much lighter euc, but yeah, I just didn't expect what I knew to be the harder to learn option would actually be this hard to learn 😭.
Bro, message me. On instagram… let’s link, let me help you out.
When it clicks you’ll wonder what took you so long. The first steps are the hardest and that’s where you are. It’s sooo worth the effort.

😂 we all go thru that phase of pain and regret.
a few weeks later… and you will love it and thank yourself u didn’t give up. Just keep practicing. Soon you will ride with one leg. I really thought I made a mistake buying this trash… now is therapy for me to ride it. And hate my scooter.
@johnnygovroom @Vikas-fv8rv @Electrum Thank you guys for the encouragement 😀 I had a real breakthrough today. For the first time I was actually riding it. Not just slowing down the time it took to fall for a few feet, but I was able to actually ride it over a block at a time on sidewalk and street. It must have looked like I was doing interpretive dance to everyone seeing me... but after the feeling of walking my euc because I don't know how to ride it, I was so happy to be able to ride home this time instead of walking it. Setting the speed really low, like 12kmh, was helpful just so I know it won't get away from me. Then really pivoting as though I would spin in place before falling I think is what started letting me stay on long enough to press forward (and go whatever direction, just forward). Anyway, I know it is a real thing now. 😂 If my body would let me I would still be out practicing. It got to where I was crashing harder and more often, I think just from fatigue, and I still really did not want to stop. Thanks Johnny for your offer to help! I will hit you up on Instagram for sure. Just wanted to follow up here and let you all know my progress!
