I spent about 6 months with an m2 air and unfortunately that 8gb just wasn't enough.. Otherwise the machine was great but when I found a solid deal on an m3pro Pro, I couldn't pass it up (just after Xmas, unwanted gift.. Paid 1600). It's definitely overkill power wise but the 18gb is perfect and I genuinely feel like Ill be able to keep the tjing for the next 4-5 years easy. If I'd gone for 16gb in the air, I'd easily still have it but thanks to best buy and Apple's price discrepancies, a 512/16gb air would have cost me an extra $350 over the 512/8gb one I had. Fwiw, the space black IS less of a print magnet than the midnight color.. not by much, but it is an improvement. I did prefer the weight an form factor of the air though.. how could you not? Congrats on the upgrade though! Loving mine! The display, speakers, active cooling, ports, ect are all nice upgrades over the air as well.
18Gb is the for $1600. Is the best deal Apple has ever given. I don’t know why anyone will buy a MacBook Air. I’ll love to get an air to review just to see why people even buy it lol
512 gb or 1tb which one do you suggest for m3 pro
For me, 512 is fine cus I can always get an external hard drive, and I’m also on budget so 512 is fine for me.

@@threadsvio m3 pro is better in my opinion, 11 core cpu, and 14 core GPU. I’ll take that over larger SSD. Plus the Ram is 18GB. It definitely gonna perform better. Probably won’t notice the difference but it’s still better for a more heavier work.

You will also needs SSD that supports that kind of speed.
