strafing run S tier, you can knock out entire columns of devastators with one, and the ability to direct it and just throw it at your feet to kill everything in front of you is so useful. works well with aggressive play style.
As a bot diver id say some of these are wrong, railgun is definitely S w/ supply pack. And strafing run allows you to save so much ammunition on fabricators making it at least A. And in all honesty, the autocannon and AMR have started to fall behind
@@wafflecopter9296 I'd argue AMR is still a top pick. sniping bunker turrets, aa, mortars, strider chins, sniping hulks etc.. I've played many games where the AMR is basically my primary with my real primary just used to clear small bots. however you just gave me the idea to try out railgun with the new siege armour vs bots I bet that reload speed does wonders for it.
I’d argue almost any S and A tiers are interchangeable depending rest of set up. I’m an avid user of the railgun and I’d say simply because it lacks the ability to destroy fabricators makes it an A tier to me. But if you have plenty heavy explosives in your arsenal, it doesn’t matter and it’s easily S to me.
The reload speed only applies to primaries as far as I was aware. However, I've been rocking the railgun since before the buffs and it's always been a favorite. You can one shot hulks in the weakpoint on safe. Stun, charge, gone. Supply pack does help 100% but helps in general to cover more of the map so as to not call greedy resupplies or to not rely so much on ground loot. @the-bonser3059
Isn't the wasp unlocked? I've been bringing it vs bots and it's pretty amazing vs them. I didn't have to buy it with requisition points, so now I'm curious if it was unlocked for some people via a bug.
No it was given for free. The unlocked icon was just showing it was unlocked for you, and what the price would be if you never logged in during the duration of time til it was given out.
I feel like a lot of these lists are from mouse and keyboard perspectives. When you use a controller to play, these weapon systems feel a lot different.
Definitely with the strafing run crowd, it DEFINITELY isn’t the same tier as 110’s, eagle smoke, and orbital Gatling. It one shots fabs and can shred those big patrols of devastators
I think C to D tier overall for the WASP is fair depending on faction, it needs a lot of role filling but if you build for everything else, it is an absolute devastator deleter. With a team and playing long range support on bots it's S+ imo and my favorite bot strat right not, but every other situation I'd be bringing something else.
I love how in-depth you are on some of these weapons. However, I feel you don't use some of these when you're rating them. There is in no way that the AMR is above the Railgun. Railgun is overall the best weapon vs bots. Yes even better than the Recoiless because of 2 things. Ammo economy and the ability to 1 shot everything (utility). It's only draw back is not being able to take down drop ships. But, that's why you have a loadout.
AMR has way better ammo economy than the railgun. It also has a better scope, it doesn't need to charge up and it doesn't explode in your face. I guess the railgun and AMR have simular roles. They are both really good and I guess it's more down to preference which one is better. The Recoilless Rifle is way better than the other two IMO. It's abillity to shoot dropships and taking out fabricators puts it on a whole different level.
The most logical way to deal with exosuit issues is to give them decoy rockets. They can work against automaton rockets, and terminid impalers, which are two of their most deadly enemies
We play completely different. i dont take any secondry weapon i find i can kill just about every thing with 500k bomb, lazer, auto canon sentry and a shield. i really need the shield i like to get up close and personal. I basicly use this set up for all the factions. I like to change amour and weapons around but i always use thermite and granade pistol
Nah ABRL is on par with the RR, one for chaff got for anti tank and they just function perfectly together, I can’t stop using it cause it just destroys boo patrols and not drops, and does insanely well on bullet hell and berserker seeds
I havent fought the bots too much but ive had aome dailies tequiring me to. Im learning weak spots but have no idea really where to shoot those damn bots besides the low tier basic troops and the bipedal walkers
Railgun and AMR should switch places. they have very similar ammo economies but the railgun is so much easier to use between ergonomics and having a 3rd person reticle. The railgun also kills quicker meaning you’re safe quicker, and staying alive is more important than anything else. The only way I could see the AMR matching the Railgun is if they gave it both a 3rd person reticle and some aim assist
It makes a big difference for AMR if your monitor can place red dot at centre of screen. I agree that railgun easier to use, but AMR has little bit more skill gap and versatility. I find extra range to be very useful too.
@@ilovedemocracyy I think my biggest problem with the AMR comes down to the fact that I play on controller so my experience is much different than one of a PC player. The railgun does have a charge up mechanic that is definitely unfavourable compared to the AMR. I suck at aiming in 1st person, so I prefer the railgun. But I can definitely imagine someone who is a better shot then me prefering the AMR.

Sup dude thanks for the content. I have some input on the airburst launcher. New ammo is cool and all, but I actually found I use the original ammo more anyway. I would put this thing in S tier when using it in a specific way, as I don't think any other stratagem does what it can do. Combo it with the Anti-Tank Emplacement and find a good perch. The Airburst Launcher covers its weaknesses perfectly. This is primarily a ranged fire support role. It's literally air support in a can. Entire patrols gone in the blink of an eye. No survivors. The AB Launcher just requires that its kill radius be respected and it will provide unparalleled crowd killing at medium range and beyond. Try out that combo!
Use the new ammo when there are teammates nearby, in mid-range combat, and when you are at a lower altitude than your enemies. To kill tanks and Hulks with a missile, put on the Flak and aim slightly above them.
