Revivify is a spell that raises someone from the dead, but only if they died in the last minute. It’s cheaper than other revival spells with longer windows of time, but it’s still hella expensive (300 gold instead of like 500 for raise dead). Depending on the DM’s rules and how cruel they are, the 300 gold for the revivify may have been consumed before the spell was nullified, wasting them and requiring them to cast it again. If that was the case, that would be a _real_ Satan moment.
Its also the lowest level resurrection spell so that pc could be dead for quite a while if its up to the party to bring them back if they need to get to 7th level spells from 3rd level since raise dead is limited to being dead for less than 10 days
Yeah. Revivify, additionally, has a VERY limited time frame where it will work. Normally, only if the person dies in either the last minute or hour, if I remember correctly. So, it's entirely possible that the character didn't get a chance to revive again, even if the bard had a third 3rd level spell slot. Which, btw, is another kick in the teeth here. Counterspell can only counter spells of its level or lower, which means that the DM didn't just counterspell the bard's revive spell, but ALSO WASTED AN ADDITIONAL SPELL SLOT ON TOP OF THAT.

I spent a year bed-ridden because the injury kept developing abscesses and I kept having surgery to debride the area. After so many times (the podiatrist wanted to do a reconstruction, but that really wouldn't have restored function) I ended up getting a below knee amputation. I can walk again with a prosthesis, but I lost all strength and endurance from being bed-ridden for so long. I'm in my forties, so I don't bounce back like when I was young. I still am unable to work, fighting trying to get disability, and have spent almost my entire retirement savings. Yeah. Don't leave a cement soccer ball where someone might inadvertently kick it with all their might. Their life could be seriously ruined.

My most evil moment was when I was a kid I had gas build up or something and let out a lethal silent fart in an a/c bus and it flowed to the back and caused chaos. Was hilarious to me
For me it was yet _another_ "gas bubble" which happened occasionally in my youth. The pain was severe but my mother insisted on dragging me around the city to run errands rather than let me suffer in peace at home, cozy air conditioning and Pepto if needed. Nope. It was a triple digit hot summer day (very common in the 90s where I'm at) and we were at a K-Mart or Target. She found a parking spot and got out. I let one fly right in the car then got out and closed the door, sealing this gaseous monstrosity in a Toyota Corolla E90 which itself was baking in the summer heat at high noon. Fast forward some time and we left the store. We loaded the trunk, I put the cart in the corral, she got in and... well, I can't recall what she was yelling about but I was almost grounded. But hey, she was *well aware* of my ailment so it shouldn't have come as a big surprise. Why raise a big stink over something out of my control? ... so to speak?

Last one for you EmKay, there are things called Automotive Dollies, they go under the wheels of a car and enable you to move it around, just a matter of lifting up each corner of the car, either by jack or a strong person, to place them under the wheel. Edit to add, there is also one that is a jack/dolly that works on hydraulics, just requires your foot to operate the jack section.
Did a lesser version of this many years ago when I was still having the dead-trees newspaper delivered and my neighbor insisted on parking with a tire right on top of it, then leaving the house for the day in their other car. I jacked up the offending wheel enough to pull the paper out, then took the car down off the jack. By shoving it off sideways.
At the local racetrack some idiots parked their (locked) car in front of someone's pit. Needless to say their car wasn't there when they got back. There is a wheel dolly that doesn't even need a jack. It has a fork that goes at the front and back of the tire and pinches the tire to raise it.

What you can do to the triple parker is keep a set of vehicle positioning dollies, one for each wheel. They let you move it in any direction, but you might need 2 or 3 people to push it safely. Move the car to another area of the parking garage entirely.

I've got an idea for people who park on the edge of parking spots. We fill the gaps between the spots with little hills visible enough to know they are there, but still flat enough for the car to get its wheels onto. I let one fly right in the car then got out and closed the door, sealing this gaseous monstrosity in a Toyota Corolla E90 which itself was baking in the summer heat at high noon.
Fast forward some time and we left the store. We loaded the trunk, I put the cart in the corral, she got in and... well, I can't recall what she was yelling about but I was almost grounded. But hey, she was *well aware* of my ailment so it shouldn't have come as a big surprise. Why raise a big stink over something out of my control? ... so to speak?

Last one for you EmKay, there are things called Automotive Dollies, they go under the wheels of a car and enable you to move it around, just a matter of lifting up each corner of the car, either by jack or a strong person, to place them under the wheel.
Edit to add, there is also one that is a jack/dolly that works on hydraulics, just requires your foot to operate the jack section.
