There is a pretty neat trick. If you watch this on a TV, computer monitor, Laptop, or Tablet with 10 inch screen. Close one Eye. Keep watching for a few minutes. You will start to sense depth in video, like you are in the video. It’s like magic. It’s not quite as good as true stereoscopic VR but it’s free and works on any video with a lot of movement.
@@JasonB808 First i thought it was a joke, but after a while the depth was starting and it feels wired. I have a 1440p monitor but the Video is in 2160p60 and it feels funny to see the depth in the Video. Our Brains are funny with trolling us with the optical fake 3d. Its a great thing^^ Thanks for this funny trick and have a nice day or night, where ever you are and read this^^
What a beautiful way of seeing the world. I love following your channel, and going on these journeys with you. Really appreciate all the effort you put into your videos.
I've seen three of your Tokyo walk videos now and I'm fascinated by how versatile this city is ... from classical japanese in Mejiro, urban, almost american environment here in this video to almost scifi architecture in Shinjuku ... i'm impressed. Nice, thank you for showing us around the city!
The mysterious Ramblac is the ultimate genius, when it comes to walking Japan videos. I listen to Brian Eno or some other ambient music, watch the stroll and get transported to weird atmospheres!
Low camera with the leaves was cool. Also thanks for staying off main roads when you can, I watch these videos for relaxation, loud noises are not so nice.
Thank you so much for this video! I have been writing a novel that takes place in Hachioji-shi, but I have not been to Japan before, so this was extremely helpful! Please keep doing these, they are wonderful! 🙏
I don't know why, but I'm totally hypnotized by these street movies. Maybe because we see everyday life there with ambient noises and sometimes music. it’s just like I’m there. fascinating...
Something I've lost with the current situation in my country is the pleasure of walking around. few safe places, few parks and interesting commerce, few points of interest, A lot of dirt on the streets and the people are increasingly stressed and rude. I went to Tokyo and Osaka in 2019 and got that pleasure again. I hope to return in 2022 for a longer stay and I'm taking note of all the routes you're showing, Rambalac. Thank you very much
Beautiful walk full of magic! Charming colours of the sky and glittering stars later ✨, nice residential area uphill /upstairs 😅🥇 !! /, city views, trees and leaves, shrines⛩, even a dark cemetery, etc - and all matches together in harmony, I loved to see it👍! Oh, as for the kitty - simply too busy, meow, no time for humans 😹 !

Can get a panorama of Hachioji from the elevated ground of Manyo Park. Course to get a sense of the seasonal changes in scenery, taking in the Tama Goryo .
18:26 I really wanted you to go right, up the stairs, and you went left first so I was disappointed. But then you turned back and went up the stairs. Yay!
The people there wake up very early in the morning because it is a dormitory city, many of them have to drop their children off at school and then go to Tokyo or neighboring places to work. A quiet place with lots of greenery, a great place to live, maybe a little humid.
I realise that this may seem to be an odd thing to say, however, I feel that due to Rambalacs I have seen large parts of Tokyo, and that when I finally travel to Japan, I won't need to visit for myself, since I have already experienced so much of the city.
Is Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇯🇵🇯🇵
I love these videos, recently I’ve struggled to watch them ^^’ seems very unlikely at this point I’ll be able to experience these beautiful sights in person, trapped where I am by recent circumstance; looking forward to finding the “oomph” to watch this one soon, thank you for the opportunity to experience in part these amazing places
Let's walk with Rambalac as he gets his steps in on a leisurely stroll between 2 train stations This is a part of Hachioji I've never been to, but have walked past for fried chicken in Namikicho or a nice parfait at Coco's We begin on the north side of Nishi Hachioji station on the JR Chuo Line We turn right and head down to the corner Let's turn left and duck into this side street and head northwest for a block Let's turn left again and have a look down this block On second thought, let's turn around and go back to the side street, and keep going to the next street Let's turn right here, and head southeast to the koban We cross the street and continue for a bit until we get to the Lawson's Now let's turn right and follow the street back to the taxi rank at station We turn left at the T crossing and walk three blocks until we find another T crossing Here we turn left and walk a block to the X crossing, where we turn right We walk south southwest until we come to the next street and turn right, westward Let's walk down this street until the next intersection, and turn left due south At the T crossing, we choose to turn left again and walk until we meet the X crossing again We turn right, more than 90 degrees and continue south We pass a few vending machines, but we keep going until the road bends eastward At this point, we check out someone's private driveway, and then climb the massive Montmartre style staircase all the way up to the Sanda water supply station This isn't the only stairwell we'll be dealing with tonight, so we have something to look forward to We turn right and follow the bend around the houses on the west side of the water station Let's follow that south and bear left at the fork, continuing southwest and then bearing right at the next fork We continue past Asahigaokakita Park but just for a bit Let's turn right into the unmarked footpath, and make our way through to the green spaces We split the green spaces and follow the bend north, then east to the street We turn left and continue north past the middle school, and turn right; we don't really have a choice We head east, then bend north and follow the side street continuing in an eastern direction We manage this tricky bit of road, yielding to cars which yield back to us and we continue east, crossing the street and bending south to a T crossing Let's turn right and continue southwest until we come to another fork where we bear left, southbound We continue until we see another staircase headed down, and follow that The staircase bends right then turns left again before it meets a dead end street That's where we find Goshomizu Benzaiten, a Shinto shrine We pay a few yen, but we don't ring the bell Instead, we turn around and head northeast up the lane to Goshomizu Street We see a cat along the way, and an interesting honour stand but we don't stay long and the cat does not want to say hello We cross Goshomizu Street and continue on the west side of Fujimori Park At the parking lot, we enter the park and make our way to the Daimachisengen Shrine There's a bit of ASMR for those who require aural gratification, but we eventually go to the rear of the shrine and scale the stairs to a secondary building That was cool, now let's go back down to the bigger shrine and follow the access road to the gymnasium We treat ourselves to a bottle of Ayataka Authentic Green Tea, and we keep moving back to Goshomizu Street We turn left and skirt the Denny's, crossing Highway 506 where we turn right for a bit We turn left back into a side street and continue to the next street Let's turn right, on second thought let's go back to the turn and turn right into the next street on the west side of Midorimachi cemetery We continue south until the road bends west and meets the street we backed out of earlier We turn left and continue to the next fork, and turn left again continuing across the creek to another T crossing We turn right and walk until we reach Highway 506, where we turn left Let's follow Highway 506 and its gentle bend clockwise all the way to Yamada Station on the Keio Takao Line We managed approximately 4.5 kilometres on our walk with Rambalac -- Not bad!
I like how different the walks Rambalac takes us on, compared to other channels that are similar. I hope one day that Rambalac makes some VR content.

The GOAT
Let's walk with Rambalac as he gets his steps in on a leisurely stroll between 2 train stations
This is a part of Hachioji I've never been to, but have walked past for fried chicken in Namikicho or a nice parfait at Coco's
We begin on the north side of Nishi Hachioji station on the JR Chuo Line
We turn right and head down to the corner
Let's turn left and duck into this side street and head northwest for a block
Let's turn left again and have a look down this block
On second thought, let's turn around and go back to the side street, and keep going to the next street
Let's turn right here, and head southeast to the koban
We cross the street and continue for a bit until we get to the Lawson's
Now let's turn right and follow the street back to the taxi rank at station
We turn left at the T crossing and walk three blocks until we find another T crossing
Here we turn left and walk a block to the X crossing, where we turn right
We walk south southwest until we come to the next street and turn right, westward
Let's walk down this street until the next intersection, and turn left due south
At the T crossing, we choose to turn left again and walk until we meet the X crossing again
We turn right, more than 90 degrees and continue south
We pass a few vending machines, but we keep going until the road bends eastward
At this point, we check out someone's private driveway, and then climb the massive Montmartre style staircase all the way up to the Sanda water supply station
This isn't the only stairwell we'll be dealing with tonight, so we have something to look forward to
We turn right and follow the bend around the houses on the west side of the water station
Let's follow that south and bear left at the fork, continuing southwest and then bearing right at the next fork
We continue past Asahigaokakita Park but just for a bit
Let's turn right into the unmarked footpath, and make our way through to the green spaces
We split the green spaces and follow the bend north, then east to the street
We turn left and continue north past the middle school, and turn right; we don't really have a choice
We head east, then bend north and follow the side street continuing in an eastern direction
We manage this tricky bit of road, yielding to cars which yield back to us and we continue east, crossing the street and bending south to a T crossing
Let's turn right and continue southwest until we come to another fork where we bear left, southbound
We continue until we see another staircase headed down, and follow that
The staircase bends right then turns left again before it meets a dead end street
That's where we find Goshomizu Benzaiten, a Shinto shrine
We pay a few yen, but we don't ring the bell
Instead, we turn around and head northeast up the lane to Goshomizu Street
We see a cat along the way, and an interesting honour stand but we don't stay long and the cat does not want to say hello
We cross Goshomizu Street and continue on the west side of Fujimori Park
At the parking lot, we enter the park and make our way to the Daimachisengen Shrine
There's a bit of ASMR for those who require aural gratification, but we eventually go to the rear of the shrine and scale the stairs to a secondary building
That was cool, now let's go back down to the bigger shrine and follow the access road to the gymnasium
We treat ourselves to a bottle of Ayataka Authentic Green Tea, and we keep moving back to Goshomizu Street
We turn left and skirt the Denny's, crossing Highway 506 where we turn right for a bit
We turn left back into a side street and continue to the next street
Let's turn right, on second thought let's go back to the turn and turn right into the next street on the west side of Midorimachi cemetery
We continue south until the road bends west and meets the street we backed out of earlier
We turn left and continue to the next fork, and turn left again continuing across the creek to another T crossing
We turn right and walk until we reach Highway 506, where we turn left
Let's follow Highway 506 and its gentle bend clockwise all the way to Yamada Station on the Keio Takao Line
We managed approximately 4.5 kilometres on our walk with Rambalac -- Not bad!
18:48 I kind of wish there was flight of stairs like that in my area, seems like good workout... and then you get a heart attack :)
its so magic so mistery
Thank you Rambalac. Love these videos.
Btw, have you considered getting a 360 camera for VR content?
Asmr sounds 💯✔️😻
Hey ram when you think you going do live agin?
What is going on with the blurring of signs?! Especially chain store signs like Lawson @ 6:30, but lots of other random ones too.
Overblown exposition, lights are too bright to see. If he set up exposition for the signs this would happen 16:50 - rest of the screen would be dark.
50:11 Beautiful 🤩
why sir you didn't walk right side there were such a beautiful clouds 9:19
