She's 55 on 2022, and i feel i don't have enough time to let her enjoy her life (She's the one who care me from 7 until now (i'm 27 now)) so after 4 year of working as an IT guy, i have enough money to make it happen. Gonna save some more up for emergency situation (as 55, you know... i'm not sure she will able to stand the cold, sick or weather or timezone changing when travel) so i want to save some up more until September (I'm planning to fly in Q4 around Oct - Dec)
It is fascinating how in Tokyo is enough to turn a corner to go from a hectic street, full of people, traffic and noise, to a quiet and peaceful alley ... and both ... they are absolutely beautiful in their own way ...
I am sure you have received many messages like this one, but I really want to thank you for providing a breath of fresh air to all of us who may not be able to travel right now. More importantly, your videos do a lot of good to mental health. Watching them relaxes me and makes me think positively about being able to come back to Japan soon. Thank you🍀

The thought going through my head right now as I rewatch this is just... I wish I could walk around Japan, just exist, no care in the world but just to explore that which the cities and towns have to offer. See the sights. Just exist, walking, meandering. No higher ambition but just to explore, exist, be a watchful bystander. I know to not have any ambition in life is frowned upon by others, but I'd rather take existing and seeing the sights, no ambition other than that, any day, over the pain that ambition to be greater has brought me when I cannot manage to get to the position I so crave. Ambition has brought me pain. Whereas the moments I have got to exist, just... be. Have been peaceful and relaxing, like right now just watching you walk the streets. Experience this all secondhand. Right now I am not trying to be greater than what I am. I am just existing, watching this, and it's peaceful and relaxing.

what i love about Tokyo is that it seems to be quite a car-free city. i mean, sure, there are cars and you're welcome to have one, but in the streets there seems to be many people and very little cars - everyone is just using their feet and bikes instead. this is something a lot of other countries lack
