- Some of you might argue that the S22 ultra supports the S-pen, so does the S21 ultra the big difference here is the S21 ultra does not have the pen built in like the S22 ultra, but is that a deal breaker, the answer is no, Most people that have the galaxy note don’t even use the S-pen that much, some don’t even use it as all.
Both the galaxy S22 ultra and the galaxy s21 ultra have 6.8 inches Amoled displays with quad HD+ resolutions. Both phones support up to 120hz high refresh rate and HDR 10+.
Now here’s the difference, You are told that the S22 ultra can drop its refresh rate from 120hz to 1Hz which will help save your battery and make it last longer. This sounds really good right?Maybe not:

Upgrading from the S21 Ultra to S22 Ultra makes no sense unless the S Pen is a priority. Upgrading from the Note 10 Plus or Note 20 Ultra however, is reasonable.
Personally I prefer the design on the S22 Ultra though 😉

I got both phones and I tend to use my s21 ultra over the s22 ultra bcuz I prefer the design and I game alot. The s22 overheats when playing high graphic games while the s21 I haven't not experienced this problem.
I guess it would be more practical to wait at least two years or three before upgrading this top flagship phones huh?

Though I bought the Galaxy S22 ultra a few months back, I am utterly depressed with its battery performance. Even this flagship S22 ultra's 5000 mAh battery provides less back-up than my another midrange phone having only 4000 mAh battery. What is the point of giving such a poor battery for a flagship price? Last year's S21 ultra did have a better battery efficiency!

I have no clue why they even named it the Galaxy S22 Ultra, they should have named it the Galaxy Note 21 Ultra..it’s pretty much a Note..and that’s why I didn’t get it. I’ve never liked the boxy design of the note and never really cared about an S Pen, so that’s why I bought the S21 Ultra instead.

My story :
On november 2021 my family bought for me S21 ultra , i didn't open the phone ..after 2 days i slipped and broke my left elbow , i've been admitted to surger for orthopedic implants and i stayed in the coma for 5 days .
The past months i was focusin on my physical therapy , today i decided to check what is samsung latest phone ... it was S22 Ultra , the salesman told me bring your S21 ultra and we can exchange for S22 ultra for 400 USD .
so i decided to check a comparison video and this video helped me a lot .
I am using galaxy S8 ultra now , which should i use ....S21 ultra or S22 ??

spot on review sir had the s22ultra here in the UK my battery was total garbage the speakers aswell then the focus on camera started playing up samsung replaced it sold it straight away gone back to s21 ultra

I came from iphone so I go for s22 ultra.. For me it is better to have S pen.. s22 ultra camera is better & has faster GPU.. For me I love the squared boxy note style of the s22 ultra.. The support for the software if better for the s22 ultra because it is the latest.. I use battery case & caryy in my bag a big powerbank so I do not have to worry about battery life.. S21 is still a beast of a phone but s22 ultra design & performance is better.. I don't care also about speakers of the phone because mostly we use external speakers & bluetooth earbuds or bluetooth headphones..

For me at least, the 22 ultra has been a better phone than the 21 ultra. As for battery I've had no issues getting 2 days worth out of it with moderate use and using it for music at work. The S-pen comes in handy. Bought a pen for the 21 ultra and didn't like it.

@@TechOverWatch I mean that they have been given access to their cameras. So now they can use the full potential of the s22 cameras. But for the others, it's the same screenshot thing. Although better than other phones, the s21 was far behind the iphone but now, the s22 is almost on par with the iphone in social media apps performance.

@@TechOverWatch Well, clearly better phone overall, but no, when you have the S21 Ultra you'd be stupid to upgrade. But this is a given for every phone that comes out 1 year later, not really worth making a video about.
Justify? If you mean not getting a side grade at best yeah, this is the video. The 21 ultra is better looking round edges not old fashion like the 22. Even the cameras look classier. Speakers sounds much better on the 21.
Screen hdr movies actually look better as does on the note!
The 22 ultra camera had sone enhancements but doesn't always beats the 21. The GPU is faster on the 22 but it's no slack on the 21.
There is a reason right now I can upgrade for $189 only. Yet I won't do it because it makes no sense. To me it's a downgrade
