I had the S21 Ultra and I sold it to get the S22 Plus. The S21 Ultra is too heavy and too long to handle. I am content with S22 Plus so far, perfect size, perfect weight and perfect flat screen.
I never really understood why there's such a focus on the outside of the phone. You're going to put this phone in a case. So the materials of the outside of the phone are irrelevant.
My s21 ultra is over a year old now and still its a beast device, software is running smoothly, camera hardware is very good, battery life is still good. Its still better than the lower siblings of s22 series. Worth to buy in 2022.

But despite of fact that it is only comparison i found, but reviewer gives general information which can be foumd on Gsmarena for example. It would ne better if you demonstrate speakers, and photo video quality with real samples.
The s21 ultra is overall a better phone better display, spen support, better camera and overall better specs. The s22+ has on paper a better processor, slightly better brightness, and a modern software which has the extremly small lead. In reality u can't tell the difference between 1500 nits and 1750 nits and the performance gain is pretty much not their less than 4-5% performance. Overall the s21 ultra is a better smartphone, the s22+ will only be for people who are nit picky about the curved display and size but if you have the s21 ultra the only valid upgrade would somewhat valid the s22 ultra, its not a huge upgrade but if your reason is the spen and boxy design and a more screen realistic than thats a huge upgrade alone. I'd say get the standard s22 if feel is important gives u the exact same level of phone as the s22+ or get the ultra, I'd say skip the plus.
Also the plus has a better build quality, way better gpu. And does get run as hot. Wifi 6E support. 1 more year of updates. Better finger print sensor. Better hepic feedback,

Buiotm quality exactly the same frosted mat finish with polishes aluminum on the sides but the s21 ultra feels better in the hand. The curved display make the phones very slim on the edge of the phone and feels comfortable to hold while the s22+ not as comfortable to hold. The s21 ultra has wifi 6E support. And 1 more Yeats of software support shouldn't be a concern because the s21 ultra is going nowhere and getting 4 more Yeats of security patch. Brightness and processor u can't notice the difference in real life. The s21 ultra and s22 plus have the same ultra sonic 3d finger finger 2ⁿᵈ gen.
The only difference between the S22 and the 22+ is the price, and battery life. Some day the speaker is a tiny bit better on the plus but hardly noticeable to most people. So you pay $200 more for a bigger screen and battery. I would have paid $100 more for a better battery but the screen is too big for me on the plus. I have tiny hands and arthritis and I already use an otterbox defender case to protect the phone so I don't want a bigger screen.
Any fellow S21 Ultra owners? I'm overall happy with the phone but I'm having issues with the camera so considering changing to a newer Samsung. I'm getting some really weird white balance/exposure (not a photographer so don't come at me). Basically I'm getting tones of red and green really discolouring my photos. Especially when taking photos of black clothing on white background for example. The photos end up unusable. The only time I don't get this is in Pro mode without changing any settings. But then the subject does not receive enough exposure and comes out too dark. Anyone else experiencing this?
@@bennymulenga5635 I think I've noticed mine do that too but the quality of the pictures has been a much bigger grievance for me - there seems to be no way to fix them. Really frustrating and disappointing isn't it. Not what you'd expect from a flagship phone. My older Huawei did better!
Think that must've happened with updates. Don't know why samsung does it. Pushes you to buy a new phone later one the worse it gets. Experienced camera issues with my 9 until it became too blurry to use with the last update. Still kept it for a while because that's not what I used it for anyway.
Interesting I presume you had the Note 20 Ultra a while and never got used to it. It's not just the size but the dumb squared size. I've got the S22 Ultra but it's such a moronic shape. It's harder to hold and digs into in pockets no matter what you do.

The s22 ultra is hands down the Best smartphone right now, it has all the top specs and features. My only issue is that it's too big but if you don't mine that the go for it.

I have both and I don't use cases or screen protectors my S21 Ultra, which is a year old has a few minor scratches on the screen and frame my S22, same usage has lots of micro abrasions and the frame is scratched and chipping in places (never been dropped). So I'm disappointed in the S22 tbh.

I can relate. Camera issue on my end is that the main camera starts out hazy and blurry and takes a while to focus properly. Quite frustrating.

S22 Ultra is a very lengthy device like all previous ultra models
The s22 ultra is lengthy and has sharp edges while the previous ultras had more rounded edges which were more comfortable in the hands.

The spen, design and the screen realistics is a reason alone to call it a huge uograde but not as massive as paying 4-5 hundred dollars extra

@thomasduke388 for me the S21 Ultra had a better more robust camera set. Plus they're pretty inexpensive now.
