I just finished this movie. I'm about to finish college and lost my dad and seriously cried through the whole thing because it really hit home with a lot that I've gone through. It was so moving to me. I cannot think of a film that has touched my heart like this in so long.
I remenber the time when I used to jump and run and been happy. Now, I still can run but doesn't make me happy, I still can jump but makes me look like a fool. I remenber the time when I run and I jump and I was always happy.
Don't live life with any regrets. If you want to go outside and play tag, go for it. If you want to have a paper airplane contest, why not? If you want to sit criss-cross apple sauce and play patty cake, what's stopping you? After all, as the wise teenagers of this generation once said: You Only Live Once
Life's hard, and you can feel like a fool in doing the things you want. but you know, the best things in life are pretty foolish, but who cares. better to be a fool than a cold stone of a person, though, I'll admit, I still have my big sis making sure I never grow cold, we're such dorks, already in our 20s and still playing spontanious pattycae and this stupid silly stuff we did as kids, and it's helped me to easier find, and go towards my dreams. Thing is man, you need to not care about people, chances are those you concern your image with, generally won't be a big part of your life, and you'll never deal with them again, so you just go and be you, and then the people who like you, can stay, and those that don't can feck off. I am a massive dork, who voice acts, sings mary tunes when I go for a walk, and Loves every minute of my life now. All I can say is, from having this experience. Don't care about strangers, care about you, your friends, your family, and be yourself, cliche I know, but you know what, there's a reason. The worlds kinda fucked up and a hard place that will keep beating on you, you'll never beat it back, that's not a thing you can do, but you can be a badass and brush off its blows, you have fun man.

This has got to be the greatest book I've ever read. I read this at the age of 3, and I'm 14 now but still remember every bit of it. I got so much inspiration from and I'm just so happy to see it adapted. Hats off Netflix, hats off Antoine de Saint-Expury
+Entomoligist yes! Agree! Read the book forever. I've read the old version and new version multiple times over plus watched the 1970s film over and over. It's my personal favorite of all time now.
+Entomoligist the original, you mean the French version. I actually haven't read it, don't know French. The two English translations are mildly nuanced in that the first version from the 40s has more formal and in my opinion more eloquent language. I recommend the 70s movie/musical. It starts Bob Fosse as the 🐍 and Gene Wilder as the fox! Is reflective of the 40s book more so than the latest version. I'm done now, sorry for my rant.
@@Jeaniesunshine-fb5rk I’m sure the author would have loved to make it like the video if possible, but they just couldn’t and were limited to pen and paper.
I love the overall message of this movie. Truly the writers and animators crafted a masterpiece that dared to man me feel like I was talking to my younger self and telling him that its not what u do, it's how u live that matters. We live in a time where we are forgetting the beauty of getting older and allowing ourselves to still dream.

Last year I suffered many losses. I haven't been dealing with the grief well, I think. It's made me terrified of losing people - especially my parents. This movie did not make my fear go away, but it helped me confront it and talk about it.

I read this book when I was 7. I read it again when I was 9. I read it again when I was 12 and I read it again, now when I'm 16. Each time I read it, I saw something different in the story and this time was the first time I cried after finishing it.
